Great for kids! There's a playground area right off the dining area but it costs $5 extra. The best part is the new making space, lots of fun experiments and beginner projects

Do not miss the cow's eye dissection! Trust me. Memorable. And it's right before lunch!

The New York Hall of Science provides demonstrations, exhibits, workshops and activities that explain science, technology, engineering, and math.
Pretty good snack bar for kids -- they try and use organic, local and sustainable ingredients whenever possible!
Check out the cloud chamber in the North Wing on Street Level - watch as particles and cosmic rays pass through the detector.
Parking is $10, skip it and park on the street for free. It's the same distance depending on where you park and you save money.
Maker Faire... Food trucks... Yum.

The basement is the best part of the museum. And they change it to, so you can always go back for different things.
Mini golf and playground closed because of heat. Really bummed. This place is the same as it was in 1995. Wish they would do something to it.

Cheshire Cat in the Light Lab is fun!
The silver rocket is a Mercury-Atlas rocket, the same type of vehicle used to put the first American, John Glenn, into orbit. The black, white, and silver one is a Gemini-Titan rocket.
Free preschool place playtime on Fridays from 2-5 and Sundays 10-11. Great place for them to run around
