    Wow really efficient staff

No line at 3:00pm Wednesday. Smooth experience. Xenophobic security officer at the X-Ray machine, who yelled at an Asian guy to "put his wallet in the X-ray scanner just like he would in Beijing."

    Vijay Jaswani · August 5, 2015

Never thought I'd say this about a government agency, but I'd actually decorate my walls the same way they do...

    Tarek Pertew · August 4, 2015

Come at around 10 or 10:30am, and skip the lines.

This place sucks. It took less time to replace a lost passport in Barcelona. People here are idiots. They can't even keep the automatic door working. They need to put down the donuts seriously

Wait can be long with screaming children and no outlets ... Recommend bringing your phone fully charged and earphones.

A line to get in a line to wait in line. Bring headphones.

    naman · August 13, 2014
  • David C.

This place is an efficient machine despite dealing with everybody's drama. Didn't mind waiting for same day processing. They are truly effective solution providers.

    David Chin · July 31, 2014
  • Kevin M. much waiting...

There are 2 lines: 1st floor, then upstairs... its worse than it initially looks.

    Eddie Pak · June 18, 2014

Like the fact you don't have to wait an eternity to drop your documents like other federal bureau

If you have an appt. Tell the metal detector guy or else he will make you wait on the non-appt line which is massive! Be prepared (fill out all forms) the ppl behind the window are Nasty!

Long pick-up lines for passport will-call. Be sure to be here before 3PM, if you have a 3-4PM pick-up. Great service, if you have all your documents prepared - walk in - no appt needed for 10th Flr.

    Boon Yap · April 7, 2014
  • Heidi V.

Why did I make an appointment?

    Heidi Vanderlee · April 3, 2014
  • Allana S.

Honestly Line B for people without appointments was far shorter. The guy behind me in line outside at 7:30 got to the check-in desk at least 20 minutes before I did in line A. Bring reading material.

    Allana S · March 31, 2014
  • Libby B.

When you pick up: Your pick-up time matters. Show up exactly at or just before it, but don't wait for them to call your name.

    Libby Brittain · March 28, 2014
  • Libby B.

When you apply: Your appointment time means nothing. Just show up on the right day.

    Libby Brittain · March 28, 2014
  • Corey H.

Painless. Took 45min to walk in and walk out. Next day pick up. Just do a walk in, no appointment needed.

    Corey Hale · March 25, 2014
  • Frank D.

Call ahead and make an appointment, it goes much faster

    Frank Denbow · March 24, 2014

Must go through security, first line gives you a ticket number. Main waiting room is on 10th floor. Wasn't crowded before 8am. Took about an hour. Have forms and all documentations ready

    Janel · March 7, 2014
  • Christina L.

Get here when it opens at 7:30am and its pretty painless even without an appointment.

    Christina Lupinacci · February 4, 2014
  • Camille K.

No appointment? No problem! They have a separate line for walk-ins. Come early when they open at 7:30 am and avoid the ridiculous wait time.

    Camille Kim · January 16, 2014
  • Faith W.

Totally don't need an appt I guess the website says so to avoid being swamped . Bring a fully charged phone and earbuds

    Faith Washington · January 6, 2014

Came in after 2 was out by 3 . Smiling goes along way and it's significantly cheaper then post office.

Not to worry, the people upstairs are nicer.

    Julia Schweizer · December 23, 2013

Dropped off passport to get pages added at 10:45 with no appointment and no wait, picked up at 1:45, again with no wait.

  • Mark H.

Don't forget your passport is expired less than a week before you're traveling :)

    Mark Hanna · November 25, 2013
  • Matt K.

Make an appointment. Security makes you not only turn on your computer, but put in a password and click around. Joy.

    Matt Kiser · November 1, 2013
  • Alexa S.

If you can take time off work, come late morning during the week. Tuesday, 11 AM and only a 15 minute wait. #winning

    Alexa Scordato · October 1, 2013
  • Richard B.

My tip is to not lose your passport.

    Richard B · September 27, 2013
  • Felio

Leaving in less than a week? Don't call. Get in here by 6am. You will get a expedited passport in less than 24hrs

    Felio · August 14, 2013
  • Alberto M.

Second tip: spend the money on an expediting service. This place is a tax payer cesspool filled with screaming babies.

    Alberto Mann · July 25, 2013
  • Shavar M.

Line is crazy long but the eye candy in here is crazy I bagged two chicks while waiting

    Shavar Melendez · July 17, 2013
  • Felipe B.

Be thankful you only need to get a passport every 10 years. The line is a good 4 hour wait.

    Felipe Barrientos · July 3, 2013
  • elicit

Didn't have an appointment and lined up when the office opened at 7:30AM. Took one hour to wait in line, fill out the form and wait to be called. Headed back at 12 to get my passport!

    elicit · June 5, 2013
  • Eric S.

Make an appointment and show up early so you will be in line A which is like an express lane - and get it done within an hour. Will get it mailed instead of following day pick-up.

    Eric Suh · May 20, 2013
  • Banana Nut Bread O.

Monday at 9am, waiting area is 70 percent empty and only 2 people away from calling my number. Must have chosen the perfect day to come!

  • Ameena M.

be nice to the passport officers, it's a tedious and thankless job and they have to sit under fluorescent lights for 8 hours. smile and the whole process will be easier!

    Ameena Meer · May 7, 2013
  • Ameena M.

the worst place to be in the summer because it's crammed with babies and children getting their first passports before visiting their grandparents - though if you like kids - a long wait but lovely!

    Ameena Meer · May 7, 2013
  • Katie W.

This place is great! I couldn't check in until 15 mins before my appt, but then I only waited 2 mins upstairs and was done before my appt time! Cost $13 less than expected & will have passport today!

    Katie Wudel · April 26, 2013
  • Laurea d.

If you have an emergency, no need to waste money on private passport expediters. Come here w/your old passport, debit card & printed itinerary & they will renew your passport before your flight.

    Laurea de Ocampo · April 22, 2013
  • Emily V.

Delightfully impress with the efficiency of this agency. Show up at 6, wait in line, magical same-day passport processing. And all with a smile.

    Emily Van Tassel · April 9, 2013
  • Michael K.

To the rude security guy who yelled at the 80 year old woman for sitting on the floor, you should be ashamed of yourself & couldn't you take your fat ass off your chair & give it to her. She's 80+.

    Michael Kent · March 31, 2013
  • Michael K.

If at all possible, plan ahead & avoid. For anyone in a last minute crunch, this place sucks but you can get a passport on the same day if traveling in <24 hours. Just note It will take you all day.

    Michael Kent · March 26, 2013
  • Michelle Wendy

Pickup time 10-4pm is BS. My bf was kind enough to pick it up for me (I signed permission on a receipt he had to bring with him). He showed up at 3:45 & still waited 1 1/2 hrs #fail

    Michelle Wendy · March 23, 2013
  • Michelle Wendy

Showed up @7am, the day of my 8:30 scheduled appt, went thru A (appt only) line 2x- 2nd time just at my appt time as per the clerk. Earlier come earlier served wasn't so but was out at 8:45 regardless
