    Beautiful architecture. A lot of tourists (just like me) in the public are but the study room are always quite and nice. Go there if you really want to have a productive weekend afternoon.

    I visit this place every time I'm in New York. The architecture, sweeping staircases, art, Gutenberg Bible, and Map Room are highlights. But the main reading room always seems to be closed when I go.

    Quiet study spot and beautiful architecture. Rose's Reading Room is temporarily closed, but there are other areas that are just as nice that are open.

    Follow signs to the South Court and go down. See where the stone changes from polished white to rough black? It’s the leftover foundation from a giant block-sized pyramid called the Croton reservoir.
