New membership plans sound good but don't include towels. No thanks!
Off the L and the ACE. Pretty new space with new treadmills and equipment. Never that crowded.
Convenient location. Good for classes. Gym equipment is pretty spread out, making it seem more spacious.
Would've been nice to make it to the Zumba class but this location doesn't have babysitting like the website says
Good location, good gym, good energy.
Weekend workouts here are great; not too crowded but not empty either.
Let's DO It!! :)
Not very crowded in the AM. Plenty of equipment. If they run out of towels the employees usually have a stash at the counter!
That thur Zumba class was awesome!!!!! Great music, moves and energy!!!!
Getting My PRETTY On!! :) jajaja
Best equipments of all the NYSC in Manhattan...need to clean the locker rooms more because of high traffic...some problems with temperature control especially in the summer.
15 min in the steamer room is the best way to end up your work up!
Avoid this club during the weekends when instructors blast music for their class of 20 people and ruin the experience for the other 100 paying members.
What f@@@ing gym runs out of towels at 1130am and says no more towels for the rest of the day !! Maybe I should say my $ ran out this month for my membership ! Get your act together NYSC
One of my new favorite NYSC. Great layout and plenty of machines. #Passport
Get the sickest summer body at Capoeira Workout classes on Tuesday and Friday evenings.
The wonderful ladies who work the front desk are more helpful than the mgmt staff combined. Put them in charge.
Greta's Pilates class on Sunday is sick! Hard as can be and challenging for even the experienced..... Two arms & legs up!
One of the best locations in NYC
Never look a naked man in the eyes!
No pain no !!!!!!
Great not crowded
It's never too busy! Nice energy too!
the girl at the front desk with glasses was very ghetto and rude. DONT go here.
Lift some weights! Because the weights won't lift themselves!!
Yoga with Renee on Tuesdays at 6 pm makes life worth living.
People who fill water bottles at the water fountains are super annoying.
Don't miss the stair climber!
Christine for step on Tuesday at 6:45 AM (worth getting out of bed) & Fridays at 6:45 is amazing! Her TBC on Friday at 5:45 is awesome but be ready for killer squats.
The big windows make this cheery in the morning. Sometimes tooo cheery.
Alonzo is an amazing trainer. Really good for toning, strength training and weight loss. Tons of experience and an all around great guy. Also a nutritionist !
Break a sweat!
SK Energy Tip: If you want to burn the optimal amount of fat during your cardio workout, exercise first thing in the morning. Your body will dig deep into fat stores for energy.
Renee teaches yoga in Tuesday nights and she's wonderful!
They recently spent 6 weeks doing a "club refresh" - a new coat of paint but no improvements to the grungy locker rooms.
Go to AC's urban rebound classes on Saturdays @ 10:30....she's motivatingggg
Longer shower curtains would be appreciated. I feel like I'm on display!
They have the new Livestrong bikes that let u ride in the drops and also tell u yr speed and cadence. Too smooth of a ride, tho, if yr used to cycling outdoors.
It's a dance party in here Thursday's during lunch. Awesome music from both studios. Great zumba class
By far Eric's Wednesday noon boot camp is the best
New spin bikes. 'Nuff said!
There are two trainers I recommend here; coach Aaron, and Coach Rick Williams. These guys are the real deal. Best boxing coaches at NYSC. Great trainers with positive attitudes.
Beware of the cleaning crew: they wait until you're working out & then vacuum under your feet, rather than hitting that spot when it's empty.
Surprisingly not very crowded on Sunday mornings. Cardio Kickbox is great, just be on time. Heat/Air generally seem to be an issue though, so bring some cold water with you.
Beware of the crazy ladee that is always fighting w her imaginary enemy... Womp womp
One of my fav ones!
Only reason I belong to NYSC over Equinox =Urban Rebounding and Cardio Kickboxing Class on Sunday mornings with Cece
My favorite location of all the New York Sports Clubs
Has three ergs. (Because I hate when I'm all ready to row and then there's someone on the sole machine who doesn't even know how to.)
