If you're waiting for a machine wait like a *normal* person. When you pace and constantly look over at us. It's irritating, and we feel less inclined to let you have the machine.

The best NYSC on the Upper West. Clean, non-crowded facilities. Great clientele. Quite reliable with repairing machines. And the associates are actually responsive, unlike the tools on 80th Street.
Go at off peak times to increase your chances of getting a treadmill. Most days there are a couple out of service.
I like this gym. The Friday morning yoga is great. Usually between 12-3 it's nice & quiet.
And definitely avoid the steam rooms if you don't want to get sick

The free weights, benches and cages are located in a room that is somewhat hidden. Take a left down the stairs, then take a left at the end of the room and walk down the hall. Its practically unused.

Good amount of people in the early morning. Still, you don't have to wait for machines. Best way to start the day.
Spinning mondays at 615 and 715 are awesome!
Visit late on Sunday afternoon and you'll practically have the place to yourself.
Get in at 6am on weekdays, so you'll never have to wait for your favorite cardio machine.
