THIS ADDRESS IS INCORRECT. As of May 2014, License X-Press moved to 145 W 30th St. For some reason, the DMV still hasn't updated their address anywhere. Save yourself some time--go to the right place.

Really is XPress! Make an appointment online for sure. Didn't even wait 5mins to be called! Great to find a location that doesn't take up your whole work day!

I recommend making an appointment online ahead of time. Can make same day or next day appointments. Check in at the scanner when you enter. I don't think I waited more than a minute. Very quick!

Quickest, easiest experience at the DMV ever. Still had to click dislike though, because, well... who likes the DMV?

There is nothing "X-press" about this place. Don't try and bring your own passport photo either because they take their own photos.

Get forms online, fill out ahead of time, go straight to the photo lady, she gives you a number, wait a while, and DUNZO. Better than DMV, but i wouldn't say x-press.

Ask your boss for early lunch and get there at 11:45 to beat the lunch rush. You'll be there 30 mins tops. Bring this form filled out and go straight to the photo line. Be nice and smile to the staff! Read more

Very quick for renewals or EDL, however each piece of ID is scrutinized like its something they never saw or a clever fake. By multiple people

Print forms ahead of time and come with them already filled out so you can go directly to the insanely long and slow camera line with one person manning it.

This is not what I'd call "xpress". Oh and bring a pen or you have to buy one...that's if the machine doesn't eat your money!!! Ghetto!!!!

Prepare as much as you can ahead of time online!!! What to do while waiting? Plan an evening out later on at nearby Best Buy Theater, Roseland or Highline Ballroom. You're going to need it!

Be prepared to wait a long time. Also these women at the front info desk are too serious, depressing, have attitude problems and act like they hate their jobs. No personality and anti social.

Don't bother coming early. When they open at 830 there's only one person working so it takes forever. By 900 there are 4 windows open.
