    if you have jury duty, skip the huge security line on the 1st floor (when coming in from the main steps) and enter around the corner of the building in the basement. No lines.

    If you need to get lunch, try Open Air cafe by 1 centre (4 outdoor booths). Very good and inexpensive.

    Jury duty can be a great time to practice good self-care. Try catching up on some casual reading, tagging photos. Treat yourself to a massage or a nice mal atone of the great downtown restaurants!

    No charging outlets so bring a fully charged ipad/phone/laptop..bc they do have wifi! Its cold in trial rooms so wear a sweater

    The elevators run slow, so if you are on a lower floor (i.e. 3) take the stairs, it is much quicker

    As soon as you get into the jury room, turn right and try to get one of the tables in the back with outlets and tables to use your laptop.

    2 things about the snack store downstairs: the coffee is awful so avoid it, and; the guy who owns the place with his wife is effectively blind so check for correct change.
