Instructions on getting your passport on Tuesday or Thursday before 2PM. 1) Make sure you have your application and passport photo before coming. 2) Bring check or money order for $110 + $25 (cash).
As soon as you get into the jury room, turn right and try to get one of the tables in the back with outlets and tables to use your laptop.
For jury duty, the side entrance people are referring to is at the back of the building. Go around on either side and cut the long line.

The service here far surpasses that of many other local premium dining establishments. I started with a martini which was absolutely perfect - blue cheese stuffed olives no less.

This used to be a one-stop destination with the DMV branch and other services. After 9/11 the Red Cross was briefly located here. A satellite court facility is here, but the DMV branch and RC left.
2 things about the snack store downstairs: the coffee is awful so avoid it, and; the guy who owns the place with his wife is effectively blind so check for correct change.
Come after 10:30 or on Friday to postpone for no wait! 9-10am is busiest.

The elevators run slow, so if you are on a lower floor (i.e. 3) take the stairs, it is much quicker
