Take the NJ transit train to NYC only 15 mins, path takes 33 mins. But ticket price is higher than path. Money and time, you choose. :)

You can get on the PATH from two platforms. The Track 2 platform side is usually less crowded in the morning than the Track 1 side.
Smart link online never replenishes my card correctly. I still end up going to the machine 2 days after filling it online.....
Tip for today, all PATH trains operating on "H" platform.

Save time getting into NYC if you're headed downtown. Take The Path at NWK Penn to the World Trade.
Still the cheapest way into NYC.
This place is so unorganized. They never tell you when the Path is going to change tracks.
If you want first dibs on a seat, board on the track 2 side because sometimes the doors on that side open first (however, the doors on that side also close first, so dont do it if you are rushing.)

Don't waste your time waiting for the train! Look up the next departure with
5-10 min. walk to Prudential Center indoors almost all the way - follow "Gateway Center" signs - you'll use a covered walkway to get across the street from the Pru Center - food and shops on the way
