Try to avoid when you think it'll be busy...oh wait that's always...
Great shopping street though, you can still find more delicious things to eat in the North End.

Teens may enjoy cruising the shopping and gallery mecca that is Newbury Street. It’s hip, it’s pricey and it’s got a lot of the Boston brownstone vibe many of us think of when we think of Boston.
Great for an early evening stroll during the fall and spring months. Too crowded in the summer and too cold in the winter.

Great for people sighting, but be sure to be observant and take a peak inside a boutique or two instead of name brands.
Watch the parking signs.
Wander down the street, people-watch and window-shop (or, *really* shop, and maybe take me with you.)
For those of us to actually live in Boston this really is not one of the best eating shopping areas in the city.... Tends to be touristy-And frankly a little played out...

Parking tips: 1)Sunday is free 2)Street parking is free after 8PM on Newbury & 6PM on cross-streets 3)Last block of Newbury (past Mass Ave) often has spots 4)Boston Common Garage & 200 Newbury=least $
The public alleys that run between the main streets are great for skateboarding!
Gets more expensive the closer you get to the Common. Stick to the blocks between Mass Ave and Copley Square for the cheapest shops.
