Our daughter needed stitches, and the nurse said a resident could do it or "someone more qualified". We chose the latter, and a 1" suture cost us $2500 from a Park Ave plastic surgeon. Caveat emptor.

Great Hospital. BUT!! The Emergency Department at WEILL CORNELL MEDICAL CENTER, 68 Street and York Avenue is very very slow, and the NURSES need BEDSIDE MANNERS. Most of them have a nasty attitude.

When staying at the hospital: if you're having a hard time swallowing your pills, an alternative would be to ask the staff to crush the meds and have Vanilla-Meds Flavored Pudding! 👍
