International Departure? There are lots of charging stations / power points around the perimeter of the food court seating. The food court is halfway through the duty free mall. None in gate areas.

The new airport is so much better than the old one. Clean place, friendly staff, much more organized than before. Free Wifi is having problem right now. Food is tooooooo expensive.

With some of the best waves in the world and great weather, Bali is a surfing paradise. Beach lovers can take their pick from an array of choices from crowded to deserted, with white sand or black.

Nice new airport, with variety of shops and restaurants. Good clear signage for gates and customs and immigration was fast and efficient. Massive improvement over old airport.

Great improvement to the new airport compared to the old one. There is a taxi counter by DFS. Note taxi ride to Legian/ Seminyak is about 95k, payable to the driver. Don't pay 120k at the counter.

Pro: fast immigration, almost no queue. Con: when departing, the obligated your through the tax free shops. Global: the renovation is a step forward. Please add aircon on the slurf to the plane..

Don't worry if you didn't find any decent souveniers on the streets. There is a wide selection at the airport. In fact even better offers and prices are in US $. Alcohol prices are refreshingly low 😌

Buy souvenirs outside as the prices in the airport can be 2-3times. The best place is Agung Bali and Kumbawaty in Sunset Rd. Same stuff sold in Kuta Market without having to haggle the price.

The fix rates of the airport taxi has increased. This year on the price list it says IDR70kto Legian but as usual they add anthr IDR30kon top of that. So my taxi fare to Legian ended up being IDR100k

If you fly out from Bali today, it is highly recommended to get to the airport asap. Local said there will be massive cultural events on the streets happening from 12:01 PM which may cause traffic jam

If you need your baggage to be plastic wrapped, get it done after the first departure luggage check. It only cost you idr 40k instead of idr 60k. The idr 40k does not require you to buy any vouchers.

Seriously, this is quite an awesome airport. Reliable free wi-fi, super clean toilet, few shops to do last-minute-shopping. Although you have to pay Rp 200k, it really is worth it !

Charge up your devices first! There're NO outlets ard the check-in counters. Only 2 outlets aft immigration (outside the toilets of gate 5 & 6/7?). Some at Black Canyon but you'll need the right seat.

Where I am on Legian, the taxi desk considers as Seminyak. Official rate on the board is IDR110,000 but they charge IDR150,000. Normal Bluebird taxi from the hotel to airport only costs abt IDR72,000.

The taxi queue for arriving flights can be lengthy. Though they look shady, the non official taxi hawkers next to the stand are safe and charge the same price. Less wait, more holiday 👍🏻

If you have escorted by your tour guide.. Make sure that they are holding the placard under your name.. But if you arrange it by your own.. Use the taxi to transfer to your selected hotel..

If you need a taxi after arrival go directly to departures (top floor) and use one of Blue Bird Group meter taxis dropping off passengers as they are not allowed to pick up anyone from arrival.

I can't seem to get a good cup of coffee in the new airport. I tried Kopi Bali and The Last Wave and both coffees were expensive and tasted awful. The coffee at Hagen Daz was cheaper and tasted ok.

There are 3 security checks before you board your flight. You CANNOT take any bottled water, drinks, etc. onboard even if you purchased them at the airport (after the 2nd check). Save your $$$!

Don't get conned by airport taxi. Step out, walk across the parking lot, turn right, walk straight out of the main exit. Hail a Bali Taxi( Light blue, bluebird sign). Cheaper. Honest. 5000 flag down.

Really interesting blend of modern architecture and classic Asian main terminal does get a little hot and humid since its an outside inside airport

There are very few seats. Water is 6 times the regular price in Kuta. You may as well bring your own water inside the airport bc Air Asia doesn't even let you bring on water purchased inside airport.

SIM card 200k at arrivals- 5.5 gb internet. If there's more than one of you travelling have one wait in line for paying for the visas(with passports) while the other waits in the immigration que.

A lovely airport. To fellow international flight travelers, gate 7, 8, 9 and so forth are quite a walk from the immigration desks. Give yourself extra 10 minutes to walk to those gates.

Blue Bird taxi from Legian to airport (with minimal traffic around 7:45-8:00 am) costs about IDR55,000. Note that there is also a departure tax of IDR150,000 after you clear immigration.

You have to walk out (100 M) of the airport area to get a cheaper taxi fare and don't change you money in airport because they pay lower. They are many money changer in town that can pay you higher...

Dont eat the fishcakes in premier lounge. In fact all food is very poor for $25 fee, worth it for comfy seats and cans of beer only. Look forward to DPS 2.0 as 1.0 airport very 1970s daggy...

Write a card with your name and destination before coming out of arrival; the hordes of airport transfer staff will overwhelm you. Also, if taking a cab, meter > suggested rates sometimes.

Print your ticket. They are asking for it at the entrance before check in. Before leaving, you have to IDR 150000 /person for airport service charge. Get to the airport early as possible.

Daylight robbery. Worst food and service in all restaurants and business lounge. An insult to any traveller. Be ready to pay 18 USD for a small burger. I recommend fasting and eat on the plane.

It's horrible, easily top 3 worst airports. Prices on a par or higher than European airports. I could travel north to south on the island for the price of a bottle of water in the airport!
