Vegetarian summer rolls are sorely disappointing. They're just rice noodles and lettuce inside :(

Quick and delicious Vietnamese food! Get the pho, summer rolls or rice with beef cubes. So inexpensive too!

Had their pho dac biet and cha gio. Friend ordered the pho ga. It was all very decent, didn't have an msg reaction. They did the cha gio right with rice paper wrappers instead of egg roll wrappers.

Make sure to order the fried spring rolls. They come with fresh lettuce for you to wrap it in and a delicious sweet and sour sauce to dip!

Coming from California, the broth is much heavier, oilier, and cloudier that what I'm used too. However they, are generous with the herb accompaniment. A steal for the price.

My first experience with pho. Still pretty good, but I prefer the mi (egg noodle) dishes here these days.

Decent Vietnamese food in the city. The sweet and sour soup is the best thing they have. Not the friendliest staff :( but the good comes out quick and us inexpensive!

if you fix up the spring rolls right, they're among the best I've ever had. add hoisin and the chili/garlic sauce, wrap in lettuce with a mint leaf and douse in fish sauce. bananatown.

Food wasn't as authentic as I was hoping for. If you have the time, you're better off waiting for a table next door at Thai Son.

In a city with some hit-or-miss Pho, you won't be disappointed with the great broth here. The Pho Tai for $5.50 is a good bet.

    Alex Benton · July 17, 2013

The best cheap eats for lunch. It's not a secret, so avoid from 1-2pm if you're in a hurry. Get the pho (noodle soup) if you want the authentic. Otherwise, the beef cubes or pork chop with fried rice.

One of my favorite restaurants in the city. Best service and best food. Love these guys. I recommend the 'BBQ beef over vermicelli noodles' and 'salt & pepper squid'. Get a '33' beer as well. Enjoy!!!

Come here the day you have a serious Hangover. Have the L11 B. with BBQ'd Pork Chop, an order or spring rolls, and hot Jasmine tea. The hot sauce and Thai basil in the Pho is great.

Here for pho? You'll want to order the Pho Dac Biet (L1), a bowl of tender beef brisket and juicy eyeround paired with chewy tendon. Be sure to applaud the cow who gave so much of himself to the dish. Read more
