Chef Ben Lee is such a gem. Michael White trained him well. Must try: salsiccia pie w/glass of Langhe Nebbiolo. Perfect combination. wEE recommend Nicoletta for casual date or a group birthday dinner.

This is one of my favourite pizza places in the LES. There is never a long wait for a table and the staff is amazing. I usually make my own pizza and get the arancini to start!

    Natasha Morini · May 23, 2015

order Salsiccia pizza! Outstanding: mozzarella, spicy fennel sausage broccoli rabe, pomodoro, garlic. Don't miss the gelato either: pistachio, salted caramel, cherry were perfect way to end meal

Ok - is the pizza pretty good here? Yes. Do I need to spend $22 for a small thin crust pie? No. Motorino is a few blocks away and way better. You wont regret eating here, but its overpriced

This place sucks it, bigtime.Wannabe fancy mini pizzas served in a loud room by bumbling staff.I ordered the simplest pie on the menu and it took nearly half an hour and was mediocre at best. Skip it.

Decent, not amazing. Calabrese for meat heavy pizza. Interesting take on gelato with home made soft serve for dessert. Fun atmosphere. (2 of 4 petals via Fondu) Read more

Arancini is phenomenal, as is the Calabrese pizza. Leave room for a custard sundae at the end of your meal (bring back the devil's food cake topping!).

Really good food and great service! The pizzas could be a little cheaper but it's really good value when you get the group special!

    Lucas Ullrich · January 18, 2015

Warning: it's a sit down pizza place. Not a pizza joint. $20+ for a kind of a small pie, but still a really good one. I approve of this pizza

Lunch prix fixe pizza is a great deal for $14 but the Italian Wedding Soup starter is oily and buttery. Opt for the salad instead.

Chef Michael White has done it again. Head straight for the pizza and a pitcher of beer. The Calabrese and Tartufata won't disappoint.

"We'll take a pass on the pizza here, but the housemade soft serve, which you can order to go, is some good stuff, fresh and buttery. "

There's better pizza in the neighborhood (Luzzo's, Motorino) but this is a reasonable alternative and different style (thicker crust).

Michael White's attempt to bring topping-heavy Midwestern-style pizza to NYC. We're not that sold on the concept, but the soft serve is great.
