People tend to check in during these times:
Beautiful and unique venue. The best seats are actually higher up, especially while it's light out.
Awesome venue... Right on the water and pretty much an awesome view no matter what.
They have renovated after Hurricane Sandy & have new seating in orchestra section. General admission standing for some some shows.

My favorite venue for outdoor concerts!
REO Speed Wagon & Chicago, great concert, fabulous setting!
If the weather's nice, This is one of the best outdoor venues. If you drive though, tailgaters will wind up blocking several parking spots.
Beware that there is not a canopy covering the seats in the case of rain.
Not a bad seat in the house.
Amazing venue, great atmosphere!
It's just a really pretty, laid-back way to enjoy a concert. I wish more venues were out on the water like this.
Great place for a night concert on the beach.
Seat upgrades and exclusive VIP experiences are now available at Jones Beach Theater. Upgrading is fast, easy, and fun! Just visit https://livenation.expapp.com from your iPhone or Android.
I love this venue! It really doesn't matter where you're sitting. Always an amazing show.
This venue needs to serve alcohol. They would make more than enough in sales to cover the drunk driving lawsuits that would ensue. Not serving booze is bad business.
No beer, kind of suck
Buy tshirts in parking lot
Yes it's a dry venue but come early park & tailgate... It's actually safer cause u sober up by the end of the concert to drive home
Omg bathroom lines r nuts! Stayed in line 25mins at least! And no booze sold inside- horrible mix! But gorg view and great bands so we have to deal!
Bathroom situation is criminal!! Plus it's a dry venue unless you pay $50 for VIP (gaining the price ledge to drink over prices beer within a gated in area like cattle)
Johnny rznick lost his voice, can't reach his own notes, sad
Backstreet Boys Concert was beyond amazing!!!
Watch out for the camera nazi in orchestra c in the white mustache who makes it his goal to repremand every person taking a pic with aone of the 10,000 camera phones in the venue. :) lmfao
Beautiful venue but the beer situation sucks. We had to pay $30 extra to get into VIP in order to buy $12 beers. I have been to a lot of shows and never experienced anything like this.
If you wanted a drink and don't want to spring for VIP tix - tailgate!
It might be called Nikon at Jones Beach, but don't bring your nice camera. Nor a backpack or bottled water. Not allowed
Search Groupon, LivingSocial and Amazon deals for 50% off VIP tix. Download the set list, pre game like crazy, enjoy the show! Skidaddle 2 songs before the Encore to get a jump on the mass exodus..,
Best to tinkle at the Northern restrooms. No lines.
It's a dry venue. Pre-gaming or tailgating is the only way to get a drink.
:) great seats!
The food is notoriously expensive - and BAD here. Eat before you come here.
Seated outdoor venue-- very unique experience. Listen to good music (eg for concerts), while enjoying hopefully good weather, gazing at stars, and looking out into the water. Would come back!
No alcohol!!! Come on man!
Parking lot was a nightmare last night. Even with parking near the exit we didn't move for 45 minutes. Beautiful spot to see a concert. Just need to work on exiting policy!
Find the VIP tent & you'll find alcohol. Have a cab or car booked to get you back to Freeport station or you'll fall asleep waiting for the bus shuttle
Even from the top it's a good view!
One of the coolest concert venues I've been too! It's right on the water, the sunsets are amazing, but bring a jacket, it can get chilly!
Coming out for Florence and the Machine Sept. 15? Look our for the Too Far team to grab a free book+CD set as you exit!
JiMmy Buffet concert!
When you sit close to the sky, you get to take in the view of the coastline, but not the performers. Just sneak to slightly better seats midway through the show.
Doobie Brothers/Chicago Concert was great!
Less crowded restrooms at the North end of theatre pishers !
such a good night. I loved everyone who played! Xx
May be a dry venue...but it was DEFINITELY green all night
Ridiculous views here. Hope you got the opportunity to see the sunset with Mac Miller on stage! :)
