This outdoor amphitheater is one of the few that is fully seated. The views are great at this oceanfront theatre where the boats line up in the bay.
May be a dry venue...but it was DEFINITELY green all night
Look for the Grasshopper ticket sellers roaming the plazas for your chance to purchase a discounted ticket close to the stage for tonight’s show – Team Live Nation
Be aware that Beer/Wine is not served at the theater unless you are buying/drinking in the VIP section to stage left.
Coming out for Florence and the Machine Sept. 15? Look our for the Too Far team to grab a free book+CD set as you exit!
This was a great stop on the Get $leazy Tour! It is on the water and you can see crabs swimming around! Also, the venue crew are hot!!
Don’t forget to stop by the Nikon tent to 1) take your Fan Photo and 2) check out autographed memorabilia and Rock & Roll photography from some of your favorite artists!
One of the coolest concert venues I've been too! It's right on the water, the sunsets are amazing, but bring a jacket, it can get chilly!
Bump up the ISO - try setting the ISO on your camera in the 400-800 range to get better low-light shots, especially if your camera has a CMOS sensor like the new Nikon COOLPIX cameras.
Eat before you come here because the concession is a little to pricey. 6 bucks for water!
All exits are final! Remember your blackberry/umbrella/coat/blanket before you enter. Also, be kind to the ushers!

Turn off your flash to get good exposure of both the subject on stage and the illuminated background.
Tip - pregame before - no alcohol policy! Uncoooool
Colorful concert lighting can be tricky to capture, but very rewarding. Anticipate the shots to know when a performer’s face will be lit, and shoot for great colorful effects.
Beatstock was epic! :)
Go to the Beach and drink before the show. The waves are great and the beach is clean.
Try to park closest to the exit, otherwise you'll be stuck in the parking lot for half an hour, possibly more. Also no backpacks or outside food/drink is allowed.
Time it right - Get into the rhythm of the songs, and zoom in on the lead singer when the microphone isn’t obscuring their face.
There's nothing like seeing your favorite band out on the water as the sun sets!
If you have orchestra seats, don't wear any shoes you would hate to be ruined! High tide can cause flooding (happened at Maroon 5 Wednesday). Had to stand in ankle deep water until the end of the show
Bathroom situation is criminal!! Plus it's a dry venue unless you pay $50 for VIP (gaining the price ledge to drink over prices beer within a gated in area like cattle)
It might be called Nikon at Jones Beach, but don't bring your nice camera. Nor a backpack or bottled water. Not allowed
Search Groupon, LivingSocial and Amazon deals for 50% off VIP tix. Download the set list, pre game like crazy, enjoy the show! Skidaddle 2 songs before the Encore to get a jump on the mass exodus..,
It's a dry venue. Pre-gaming or tailgating is the only way to get a drink.
Ridiculous views here. Hope you got the opportunity to see the sunset with Mac Miller on stage! :)
Awesome views during daylight hours, but don't forget a sweater for night. Brrr. Also - no alcoholic drinks served in the venue.

Picnic dinner before going to the concert
DRINK BEFORE U GO IN! .... they serve outside or pregame in the lot. Once you're in they don't serve alcohol and they don't let u out .. it's a cruel trap!
Having VIP access is great, its the only place to buy alcohol but come prepared to spend $12 for Beer's on tap and glasses of Wine... no hard liquor here! Also, $6 for a bottle of water or a soda.
The weed smells good in section 14
If you're taking pictures at sunset or in low light, try turning the dial on your COOLPIX to Night Portrait mode. The setting allows you to take pictures with well balanced light while preserving the
Wear bugspray. Trust me, it's worth it.
Eat before you get here. 13 gets you 3 chicken fingers, handful of fries and a the tiniest soda I've ever seen. Also 6.50 for a bottle of water.
Love it! Summer only, dance or just listen to free live music nearly every night: local, tribute & oldies bands of various genres including rock from old school to classic to current, Latin & country.
Great outdoor venue w/ good views & sound. The lot has always been relaxed & offers beach access. Get there early to secure the closer one for cheaper than VIP.Vending is usually decent.
Be prepared to have your bag throughly checked.
Went to show, Jason Mraz, G-Love and K'naan! Good sounds, Good friends, YAY!
I love this venue! It really doesn't matter where you're sitting. Always an amazing show.
Backstreet Boys Concert was beyond amazing!!!
If you wanted a drink and don't want to spring for VIP tix - tailgate!
:) great seats!
Seated outdoor venue-- very unique experience. Listen to good music (eg for concerts), while enjoying hopefully good weather, gazing at stars, and looking out into the water. Would come back!
