The nicer of the 2 Ninth Street Espresso's. More seating here and welcoming of laptops, but still no outlets. Cold brew is solid.

    ZZubin · August 18
  • Raphael L.

Great for working, but no outlets and the A/C simulates New York in January. Still - good coffee and a nice, relaxed vibe.

  • John M.

Great coffee and place to get work done in the area.

    John Murray · August 2
  • Matthew C.

Some of the strongest coffee that I have ever had. If only they had food, this would be the perfect spot to start a day.

  • Valentin G.

Try their cappuccino, or just a classic (but excellent) espresso.

    Valentin Guerin · July 2
  • Malcolm R.

Delicious coffee, light brown woody interior, outdoor seating. Huge windows looking into a park. Free wi-fi, though it's pretty weak. No outlets.

Really the best little coffee shop in the neighborhood. Awesome spot, with a few cute little outdoor seats. But cash only.

If you love drip coffee, ask for a pour-over of the Guatemalan....and drink it black! The Brazilian and Costa Rican are best as espresso with milk.

    Efrem · October 27, 2014
  • Dylan S.

Gets packed during prime hours. Go when it's quiet to relax or do some work with a great cup of coffee.

The only decent coffee & the only good workspace in the area, along with free wifi and basic baked goods are provided to a mostly local Alphabet City crowd.

  • Bragi B.

Great coffee but rude baristas. Got sneered at when I didn't realize "6oz espresso with milk" was my order - I asked for a "small cappuccino". Pretentious. And that's coming from a Shoreditch girl.

    Amanda Foley · November 23, 2013
  • Paul M.

Laptop friendly, but maybe too much. All the two-seaters were occupied by people on their computers who had long ago finished their drinks.

    Paul MacDougall · November 19, 2013
  • Emi S.

their lattes are unlike any other. as soon as i finish one, i immediately want another. i cant think of a better sunday spot, or any day for that matter.

great place to do work although they don't have any outlets. the baristas are so awesome and will let you work all day. :)

Bring your own power generator if you want to get work done. They covered their outlets on the floor so you can't plug in.

  • Sam H.

Good for a quick and tasty coffee, but they closed up all the power outlets, making this place a "if I'm near by" instead of a destination for me.

Tucked away near scaffolding but next to Tompkins Square Park is some great coffee. Always strong, aromatic and with a nice crema. Some space for lingering, standing or seating but plain inside.
