A chill and quiet spot, perfect for studying and reading. Although the décor and menu are minimalistic, their coffee is brewed to absolute perfection. The baked goods went perfectly with our espresso.

I've wasted my money in all the damn bars and cafes in this friggin city - this place makes THE BEST espresso drinks in all five boroughs. not maybe. not sometimes. definitely and always. nuff said.

Not too thrilled with this spot. Got a lot of sass from the barista who then took my to go drink and started drinking it himself. Espresso was chalky. Great place if you're into pretentious baristas

One of my faves. Get a delicious iced coffee (and it's not just a cup of ice, mind you. They don't skimp) and go chill by the dog park in Tompkins = weekend hangover recovery

$3 for an iced coffee but SO AMAZING! Cash only. Remember to tell them to punch a heart in that card on the counter because once you hit ten, you get a free coffee.

Espresso is pretty good - 7.5/10. I went twice and the first time the barista was pretty unfriendly, but the second time he was actually a jerk to me. There's no ambience either.

A relatively small, simple, and very basic espresso bar. Never cramped. Just serving up your better-than-standard espresso and coffee drinks. Great for some preferred loner time.

I like the 10th Street location because it feels homier, but despite offering free wi-fi, this isn't the best location to get work done. Serving Intelligentsia.

I love looking at the ever-rotating collection of art on the wall while waiting for a nine ounce. Great way to start a Saturday or Sunday morning.

Nice guys serving strong coffee. If you don't mind the price tag, this place is great. They should really add some seats though.

Ninth street espresso sets the standard for espresso and pour over in Alphabet City. The Tompkins Sq Park location does not disappoint.

Sit at the front window for some excellent people watching. Excellent coffee - probably the most developed fruitiness I've ever had.

Make sure to get a punch card when grabbing coffee here regularly to get a free cup after the 10th visit.

You can't go wrong with any espresso drink here. Iced coffee for the summer if you're into that sort of thing. And always a pastry

My hot chocolate came with a heart, then mine melted... I tasted it and smiled. This was over a year ago and I still remember that hot chocolate. It was great.

The coffee is good yes and the bearded guy is cool but the little worm with the squeaky voice has an attitude problem. Don't ask any questions.
