With three stories of laid-back atmosphere and free wifi, this is the kind of spot where you can hang out, study or relax. Reside residents: Buy one drink, get one free (of equal or lesser value). Read more

Snag a half-pound of primo Metropolis coffee beans, plus a cup to sip in front of this spot’s cozy fireplace or around one of the wooden tables that line the many nooks and crannies.

A really low-key, quiet and comfortable place to get some work done. Americano was really well balanced and the Banh Mi sandwich was really good. Read more

The comment on the skim is ridiculous, and ancient. It happens all the time. Some of the staff are even lactose intolerant. They care.

Metropolis coffee + free wi-fi + plenty of peace and quiet! If you can find a place to sit, this is a marvelous study spot.

Try the pie during a study break. You can take it back to your table and enjoy! Also, try not to take up a large table if you can help it, the regulars will get upset.

This place serves soy lattes with unsweetened/unflavoured soy milk, unlike Starbucks. The almond croisant here is also delicious.

Go to Noble Tree Cafe and have the Ginger and Lime Rooibos tea. Sip it with a book of your choice on the 3rd floor.

Don't order anything with skim milk. You will not get it. Happened to me 2 / 2 times, despite being very specific (and re-checking when I got the drink!).
