San Jose Int'l Airport (SJC) is located in the heart of Silicon Valley, the center of technology innovation. San Jose is the 10th largest city in the U.S.
Traveling with Southwest? Check out the e-cloud: 1000s of switchable glass squares suspended from the ceiling that change from opaque to transparent w/the transmission of real-time weather data!
The fish tank just outside of security in terminal B is killer. Love the cameras that show the way fish see u!
Flying with only a carry on is the best way to go!
You made it. Now catch your breath.
I love the "executive seats" with power plugs for laptops. I think only Southwest offers them.
Wear slip off shoes and put your keys in your carry on bag!
While you’re waiting for your flight, you can stay connected with AT&T Wi-Fi. It’s easy to connect and free for AT&T customers w/ certain smartphone or home broadband plans.
Be forewarned! SJC is still under construction, tho looking beautiful & like a real airport. The walk from gate to baggage claim/exit is a HAUL! It'll feel like you're walking for miles. Good cardio!
Look for one of the power seats with 3-prong plugs and a USB port.
The ceiling art between gates 19/20 is uhmazeing! The 'e-cloud' @ 22/23 is RAD! The Baron Von Munchausen creation outside security is excellent! The aquarium @ 24/25 is cool too! Well done new SJC! I
Love the free wifi
The new parking lot blocks the view of the airport = /
Southwest terminal A... is long. Be prepared to walk 10 minutes to baggage claim.
EASY Free unlimited WiFi!
Overheard an aircraft pilot say "Your luggage shouldent have more wheels than the plane!"
Arrive early. Ur terminal can be at the end and ur gonna have to walk hecka far! No shuttle
Free Internet baby!
Love the Express Checkpoint in the mornings. Shhh, don't tell anyone where it is. :)
Pro tip: The terminal chairs all have USB charging ports and outlets!
Please pass gas before you board the plane. Sincerely, everyone else.
With so many nerds in San Jose you would think the WiFi would be faster
Visit San Diego :)
Phew! Did my daily cardio here! Loooooong walk from gate to bag claim
Skip by Starbucks and Peet's - there's an Illy espresso cafe down near gate 20. Best coffee you'll ever get at an airport. PRO-TIP: they keep a tip jar just behind the counter. :)
SouthWest awesome check in area. Leather seats w ac power
about $20 for a cab to downtown.
New terminal is very nice and spacious. If you are a SJ Shark fan, go to the Shark Tank bar!
Remember that Southwest now flies out of terminal B.
They finally remodeled here and it's so much nicer!
There are electrical power outlets at all the seats at the gates in the Southwest Terminal. No more Drop kicking the nice old lady trying to steal the last outlet to get your charge on.
Terminal B gate 27 window seats have outlets and USB ports
Alaska Airlines is the best.
The AT&T WiFi - which I pay for - is embarrassingly slow compared to the free WiFi here. Some days I wonder why AT&T even exists...
One of the WORST airports in terms of logistics. Unnecessarily long walks to gates, to shuttles, everywhere. They turn a half mile shuttle ride into a 2 mile journey.
"Entertain us if you please, but please be gentle to the keys." I like the piano placed in the middle of the baggage claim and the people who play it.
Check out all the awesome seats in terminal B that have both USB & power outlets built right in!
Try the planes!
Show up early and take the time to look at the new art! Above baggage claim there's an giant interactive sculpture!
If you have $10, thirty minutes to spare, and no boyfriend, the massage chairs located throughout terminal B are a must.
No matter what airline your fly, make sure you're at the gate 45 minutes to an hour prior to departure. Doors close 10 minutes prior to departure. Airplanes don't wait for you, YOU wait for airplanes.
I'm leavin' on a Jet Plane, don't know when I'll be back again!!
Want a massage? Just Opt-out of the x-ray screening!
Travel is a great excuse to clean out your purse! Getting rid of clutter in your carry-on bag will allow Transportation Security Officers to get a clear X-ray of your bag and save you time.
When using the kiosk for checking in or reprinting your boarding pass, just insert a credit card or your DL instead of inputting your confirmation number. Saves time.
If you're traveling to give a presentation, stop fiddling with slides and start rehearsing. More tips in the bestseller-The Presentation Secrets of Steve Jobs.
Try a little taste of Santa Cruz at Pizza My Heart in Terminal B!
Security early Sunday morn was super quick.
