The Best Way to San Francisco Bay.
Easy flying out… baggage claim coming back is usually hectic
None of the USB ports work :(
Small and cozy...you can ger through inmigration real fast
Southwest terminal is smooth sailing in the morning, whereas you'll want to allow some time for any other airline.
Go to the Starbucks at gate 11, it's less ratchet... Well considering, it is Oakland. This airports always a ghost town for a reason.
The staff at the security are rude and unhelpful. Go to SFO or SJC instead.
@Essie nail polish vending machine in Terminal 2 (By @SouthwestAir) is very cool. Same price as stores; great color selection. Perfect for flight delays!
Coconut water and a kind bar to make up for the wine and margarita at PDX
2 immigration officers for 127 mexicans = longest line ever.
A good alternative to SFO if the flights are cheaper.
TSA lines are fast
In terminal 1 there is a long quiet walkway to sit and stay cool.
it's so pretty and the WiFi is great
The BART to airport connector air tram is new and clean still! Good service.
Free wifi is only good for first 45 minutes. Then you have to pay.
If your gonna stay overnight at the airport, better make sure you grab a bench seat before 10pm. There is only a few and they fill up fast. Sleeping there is fine. Sandwich $8 water bottle $3
My first time in couple years, maybe lil longer @ this airport. Took/mom there 2 catch a flight. Didn't know parking lot for flights was there. Very convenient, easy pay svc. Saw BART starion there.
It's not the nicest airport, and it's not the most convenient to get to, but it totally makes up for it by almost never having lines at security.
Flying out of busy Terminal 2 (Southwest)? Try Terminal 1 security line and just walk over.
Invest in TSA Pre ✅ for $85. You will speed through the security line in five minutes, get to leave your shoes on and your laptop in your bag.
Don't get stuck here overnight! They will kick you out to the ticket counters. There are no good places to rest or sleep. Plus, this airport is FILTHY by the end of the day!!
Easy access to all airlines. In & out. Nice!
AirBart is finally opened. Convenient.
Nice small airport, but need to work on the flow through security.
Decent airport. Baggage return slow! Lengthy wait! Definitely room for improvement. However, I would not hesitate to fly Oakland again. One of the nations better airports to travel
One of the most horrible airports i had been un my life, smeels real bad
Great airport. Small , clean, easy parking and two Starbucks :D
If you are sitting on the aisle, don't buckle up until everyone is seated.
Grab some Peet's coffee in terminal 2 (so much better than Starbucks). Security was also very quick. Power stations all over the place. Love it.
The new BART connection is awesome.
Gotta love the music when you are exiting!
You can now take the BART shuttle!
Nice alternative to SFO.
Bring sanitizing towels with you here. They need to clean this place!
The steak burrito what Andale was pretty damn good.
Bar and restaurants close at 8:30. Where am I? Mayberry???
Uber is cheaper than a cab.
Really hate this airport. It is dirty and smells. Limited options for food. One place had music so loud it was echoing throughout the gate. Get me out of here and I am not coming back.
No TSA Pre-chek? Whazzup whit dat???!?? OMGG poor little ol lady had NO idea what was going on! Didn't wanna take off her shoes! I don't blame her! NOT much of a security threat from her! SLOW!!
Flight in the high 20's to low 30's gates? Stop by the airport outpost of Fenton's creamery, a true Oakland original.
Cool airport w/great wifi and comfy! Guard your outlets though they're prime real estate
Definitely an airport to go to when wanting dodge the busy lines
Starbucks near gate 23
They've got a wine bar!!! Love it.
Global Entry not supported here :(
Very easy to get in and out of. Baggage retrieval is generally swift. Great weather prevents delays. Huge Southwest hub. Wish it was better served by more airlines
The shortest walk from economy parking of any airport ever.
If the security line in the Terminal 2 (Southwest Airlines) building is too long, it may be worth it to walk to Terminal 1 and do security there since the airport connects all gates in the back.
