Take off your shoes. Go to the water and let the waves wash over your feet. Think about the fact that you're now standing in the biggest, wettest wilderness on the face of the earth.
Hang out at Ocean Beach and watch the sun set on a clear day.
One's best asset is a sympathetic spouse...
Bonfires are allowed in the pits between Lincoln Way & Fulton, directly west of the park. No fires are allowed on "Spare the Air" days or on days of extreme fire danger.
After a ridiculously long & stressful day, the ocean is where I like to walk/jog w/music in my ears... I promise you, after just a half hour of fresh air & natural scenery, life's good again!
Watch the sunset on a clear, non-windy day
If you're here at sunset on a clear day, watch for a "green flash" just above the sun. You'll need some luck, though—it's rare to see it and it only lasts a few seconds!
don't park in front of my house
Get an inch thick cinnamon toast at trouble coffee then walk down the street for a stroll on the beach.
Stroll during the early morning and look for sand dollars.
Go surf with the seals and dolphins, sucka.
Take your dog to Ocean Beach. Throw a tennis ball into the surf and play.
Throw away your emotions and curse the sea.
good breaks in winter with south swell. morning and mid afternoon sessions. cliffs is where to be seen but there is 4 miles of beach. explore.
Great beach that is quiet and close to public transportation
This is a great beach for playing soccer or going on a long run.
Take the N Judah to the front of the dunes (last stop) then get a milkshake right as you get off at java beach. Then enjoy the beach with a picnic and stay for sunset if clear.
Close your eyes and listen to the waves.

great place for a run, especially on the seawall. There is also a trail beside the paved path if you are trying to take it easy on your legs. live strong
If you're going to have a bonfire, be sure to move your car by 10pm ish. Otherwise you will get towed.
Take a book and lay on the beach during one of the rare sunny days. For maximum relaxtion, do this in cut offs and a tank top
Watch sunset at the beach
Best place to watch the sunset in San Francisco
Great surfing to be had if you can make it out past the break!
One of the best and beautiful spots in SF. Perfect for a walks along the stretch of the beach or to catch a glimpse of the kitesurfers. Have dogs? Even better...just make sure they are leashed :)
My most favorite place in San Francisco
Lots of water
Play acoustic karaoke. There is no such thing as a bad song.
It's nice enough to play in the water
Watch the sunset. bring a bottle of red.
Sit on the beach and watch the sunset. A magical moment in your life you'll never forget.
Ocean Beach is my fav place in the world to be. Soothing and beautiful. Day or night.
Bring extra shoes for you don't wanna miss playing/walking on the sand.
Go for a run when it's cold, foggy and cloudy because when that rare, sunny, warm day comes, you'll run the risk of tripping over people tanning, dogs running and kids playing.
Have a bonfire. It's awesome!
Great place for bonfire and star gazing. If you need to get away the sand dunes block out the city and you really feel like only bean and you exist.
Scream and curse the sea.
Don't forget the radio..
It's full of water & fishies!
