Pretty good hamburgers. On the other hand one of the worst service and grumpiest staff I've seen in New York.
Corned beef hash
Only a diner like Odessa could make hash browns taste this good. How do they do it?
This place is adorable and poppin on the weekends
Willy is the best waiter! Pancakes are delicious
Eggs Benedict and awesome chocolate chip pancakes!
Soooo delicious. Divey looking, but food doesn't disappoint.
Just sit down and eat
Pretty solid 24 hour diner. Don't remember what I got because I was blacked out but I know I woke up satisfied.
Try their food, it will fill your stomach
Really good tuna.
Pierogi and kielbasa brunch, available every day till late, is a NYC fav meal.
Old school diner, old school prices. 24 hours. Great omelettes.
Eastern European dive and diner with excellent French toast (made with homemade challah) and very good blintzes. Open 24 hours.
Hipster city. Pbrs and high life.
Great old polish style diner 24 hours a day.T cash only for deliveries. Way around it is to use menu pages or one of the other menu services like SEAMLESS to use credit cards there for delivery.
Dear skater and rock a billy bartenders. Please less Buzzcocks and Fugazi. Play more fierce music like Sylvester and Donna Summer. Love your loyal Friday night customer.
Come on Tuesdays and Sundays to hang out with Dave the Bardtender. Old-school east village dude.
This ’80s-era establishment is still going strong! Odessa wins the heart of old and young residents alike for the comfort food and 24-hour service on weekends.
Sink into a dark booth with friends, a whiskey or a coffee and unwind. Except for the conspicuous absence of cigarette smoke it's the nostalgic NYC diner experience that's all but disappeared.
Best service I have had in this city in recent memory.
I've been here twice. And twice, the cups and silverware were FILTHY. Always request paper cups and plastic food utensils when coming here.
The potato pancake with sour cream is the bomb!
Not Russian food per se, like it's described in some guides, but rather 'American borscht belt' food. The cafe, not necessarily the restaurant, is a great place to sit unhurriedly with a friend.
Come after 3:30 am, share a plate of deliciously awful disco fries with me.
Tip Mike. He's the one in black.
Cawfee and convo. Ask for the million dollars in a bag or the pile of 20's in a plastic bag.
They let us hoop here!
Get some fried pierogies and blintzes! Gotta go with the cheese blintz, it's the classic!
They can't make eggs! Service is good thou
Odessa Combination Platter! Kielbasa, potato pancake, perogis, and stuffed cabbage! Mmmmmmm.......
Ask for Willy every time. He reminds you of Crusty the Clown!!
Potato pancakes. Any time of year.
Wait. Beer and pirogies?!?!
Great neighbors! Come by @RaysCandyStore next door afterward for a snack!!! 113 Avenue A
Probably the best red stucco ceiling on Ave A btw 7th and St. Marks. The breakfast special is pretty good too.
Get the chicken noodle or chicken rice soup. Trust me.
If you're battling a cold, get a matzoh ball soup and a grilled cheese sandwich with kieblasa. The sausage is unwieldy, but oh so good. Perfect comfort food.
Some of the best chicken noodle soup ever.
I can have an omelet and my date can have a beer :) Awesome haha!!
Try the Pork Chops - Brined in vanilla and molasses. Tender and amazing.
Divey and fantastic, sauerkraut and mushroom boiled pirogues rock the house.
Try the Bloody Mary - Nice and spicy.
Open 24 hours and delivers! Make sure you don't have bills over $20 when they get to you.
Challah grilled cheese , do it
Agree with Ken. This is the East Village Tom's. Although it's missing that chipotle hot sauce, it makes up for it with perogies.
Ziggy & Dave will hook you up with drinks!
