Starbucks on pedestrian concourse over Canal St. to Chicago water taxi is out of Bistro boxes on Saturday. Larger Starbucks on Clinton St. is closed on Saturday. Huge #FAIL . Do better Starbucks. 😒

Stairwells from train platform to French Market are closed on Saturdays. Have to go downstairs, OUTSIDE and up the street (Clinton). Huge #FAIL . Do better Metra.

The portal to the suburbs. The most lost tourists under one roof in Chicago or your money back. 😊

Save yourself time and buy your ticket at the vending machine near the tracks. They run out near the 1st of the month though

Usually good. Make sure you get there in time to purchase a ticket. They need more machines. They were out of one ways at the machine. $5 surcharge on train if you don't buy ticket before boarding!

If the lines are long at the ticket counter, check out the dispenser in the actual terminal - it takes debit/credit.

Conductors love telling everyone this on the trains: "Seats are for butts, floors are for feet." Therefore, keep your feet on the floor unless you wanna get yelled at.

If the ticket office is open, buy your ticket before getting on the train, or you'll pay a $3 surcharge

Intolerant of talking, perfume, cologne, food, phone convos, naughty/scared/happy kids, & other human behaviors? I certainly wouldn't ride Public Transport. Get even! Deny them your company. Drive!

For the first timers, there's a walkway on the second floor which goes over Canal street and can save you from the cold and waiting for traffic.

Most of the cars for the Metra UP West Line from OTC to Elburn do not have working water faucets in the restrooms (probably true for other trains), so bring hand sanitizer or use the ones provided.
