    Get here early on match days and absorb the atmosphere outside the stadium. Players start warming up on the pitch able 30-45 minutes before kick off.

    2nd largest ground in uk after wen key. One of the great stadiums of any sport around. Great facilities. The atmosphere is not at its best currently but will be again.

    Red Café is great to eat, Museum & Stadium Tour is fantastic and the Munich Tunnel is eye-opening

    Have a day out with the family, a visit to Old Trafford then across the road to The Imperial War Museum, followed by a tram into the city, The National Football Museum and The Manchester Art Gallery.

    If you are getting tram to city centre, walk to Salford quays, you can actually get on the tram here after a game.

    On 25th October 2003, a super Steeeeeeed Malbranque starred in Fulham's amazing smash-and-grab raid on Old Trafford and ran the champions ragged as FFC won 3-1.

    Walk down to Trafford Bar tram stop when leaving. Can get on quieter trams that don't stop at the old Trafford stop

    Manchester United had not lost any European Cup game here for 40 years (1956-1996). 56 teams had came and attemped to do it, all had failed. 40 years record was ended by Fenerbahçe (Turkey) in 1996.

    Pretty terrible experience - once past the turnstiles, you're herded through a tight caged stairwell (not even fit for battery hens), only to arrive at a dreary shallow concourse with expensive beer.
