    Unfortunately, longstanding South Austin gem Olivia closed down in October 2016 to make way for another installment of Chef James Holmes' Lucy's Fried Chicken empire. Also great, but much more casual.

    I made a reservation through Open Table and it was clear when I showed up that they hadn't prepped in advance. Food is good but don't expect great service.

    Good in any day, but their Sunday brunch is by far their best. Chicken fried steak is a personal favorite. Parking situation gets bad pretty fast though, so prepare to deal with that.

    We found it overpriced, over salted, overrated, and underwhelming. Got one order completely wrong, and because we didn't want to wait for another full meal to be prepared, we settled. Disappointing.

    The salmon crudo is to die fresh, so tender, great flavors. The halibut is perfectly cooked & the quinoa is incredible! Really well-balanced flavors of sweet/savory. And the beet salad...mmm!

    Another one of Austin's greats...I've yet to have a bad meal, but the standouts so far have been the diver scallops and the fried chicken. Also a great brunch option if/when you can get in.

    The chili frite pie really will put you in to major food coma (as the menu hints) - but oh MY. It is so good. Bellinis for brunch also bring a light and refreshing drink to sip!

    the food needs a lot of improvement. some dishes are actually bad. have a drink at the bar, admire the gorgeous ceiling, then go eat somewhere else.
