Originally named Leverett Park, in 1900 it was renamed to honor its designer, Frederick Law Olmsted.
Watch out for massive amounts of goose poop and the geese that leave it will attack your dogs ;)

"One of the most favorite places in Greater Boston where we often spend afternoons in warm seasons. They have a fenced playground with equipments and a big beautiful pond you can see lots of geese!"
