Great exhibits, plus the OZ works on a lot of wildlife conservation and education projects locally and globally! A great place to support.
Cool tourist spot
Animals, i like the birds of prey
A great place to spend time with your kids. I always get an elephant ear and shaved ice when I go there.
Clean, well organized and a ton of variety of animals! We had an awesome time
Seeing all the animals my@kids@love it there and it's also a good work out u always walking Everywere
A very well blended variety of species. Good food, fun family memories and even geocaches.
2nd Tuesday of every month is $4 admission. New elephant exhibit is coming along nicely.
The zoo keys are fun to have but, the boxes take a while to talk about the animals. It's just fun for little kids to have a little key of their own.
The animals were awesome!
The Oregon zoo is such an amazing place! All the animals are so playful and sweet! You can even feed the lorikeets!
Always enjoy the Zoo.
Avoid the food. Go across the parking lot and eat at the Children's Museum. No need to have a ticket.
Food choices are shameful. Lots of construction. Still a nice zoo.
Very close to Washington park. Lions tiger bears! Currently renovating the elephant enclosure
Well, i think that the reptiles are the best! But it takes so long to get to them!
Zoo membership is the best deal. Can include zoolights option. Discounted food prices with membership.
The baby elephants are the most precious animals there!
The lions, tiger, bears. Also compare the river otters to the sea ottets.
The big cats like to sleep.
Great zoo. Be on the lookout for roaming peacocks. Ride the zoo train to the rose gardens.
Always love a trip to the zoo! Love the big cats the best:)
Go first thing in the morning when the animals are more active
Disappointed with the height of the giraffes
The parking lot can fill up on nice days so come early.
Be careful, this place can be a zoo if you go at the wrong time. If you go at the right time it can be a zoo too.
I like the elephant exhibit and the cheetah. Kind of a smaller zoo but still way fun.
The cheetahs are the best
Great zoo- had an awesome time!!
Everything is sooo expensive!
Sunday mornings before 11 are great. You see everything before it gets too crowded.
When it's not summer go during the week when it first opens. Not a lot of people and the animals are up and about.
Check the "today at the zoo" tab on the website to see what is going on during your visit.
Awesome zoo and cheap too
Will charge you for parking... Even if you take the shuttle.
Pack a lunch. Lots of tables and benches all over. We packed our own sandwiches and water. Water water water! You're going to walk a lot.
The zoo is nice! Try to come when all the animals not sleep
Don't miss the bats, especially if it's 3:00 PM—feeding time.
Lily was beautiful!
Bring a picnic lunch and eat on the grass!
Come for the Leopards. Stay for the Sea Otters.
True story: the drinks don't come with straws after someone threw one in an animal pen and a goat choked on it.
Loved it my Lil one had a blast and loved the animals
Animals in cages...yay? Cheetahs are the only big cats that purr.
The polar bears are cool!
There's a geocache in the Great Northwest area, but cell signal is poor in that area of the zoo, so look it up ahead of time. You'll need the description to open the lock.
It was great going on a Wednesday in April, not too many people and the weather was perfect! All the animals were out! Great day at the zoo!
