Chef Claudio Aprile’s Chinois duck wrap with pickled cucumber is proof that good things come in small packages.
Origin: Amazing, Captivating, and delightful on the palate. Shrimp Seviche is a must! Desserts are a bit lackluster - room for growth - 4/5
Origin: Ethnic influenced tapas, perfect for sharing, brilliant black cod, expansive menu 4/5
Make sure to specify if you want to sit at the chef's bar or at a table when you phone in. That said, the chef's bar is fantastic for those interested in how food is prepared at a top restaurant.
Tuna hand roll. Burrata cheese bruschetta. Buffalo mozzarella cheese brushetta. Duck tacos. All divine!
Sit at the bar and enjoy free Cornuts. Anybody who enjoyed the movie "Heathers" will appreciate this.
Leave tip?! Just leave, turn around And get the hell out of here! Lots of great places in the area...go anywhere else!
Brunch or spanish fries or the chorizo and manchego risotto dish.
Try the Seared Scallops
Beautiful place. Been buzzed about for yrs and it's finally here!! Great decor, sexy, nice patio, good food, in an awesome area.
Salmon Tataki & Miso glazed black cod is pretty badass!
The Bangkok beef salad isn't really a salad. It's basically beef with noodles and peanuts.
Loved the chicken tostada and duck chinois!!
Did not enjoy the brunch😞
The duck confit French toast with blueberries, sour cream and hoisin sauce is fantastic..great with a touch of Srirancha chili sauce! Only served in the weekends unfortunately.
We had French toast - way too sweet. Deviled eggs were okay.
Go early for creative cocktails on the patio, and stay for favorites like the Bangkok beef salad with mango.
small portions but the food is tasty. I highly recommend it for people who like to share food
Here now experiencing TERRIBLE service. Messed up my SIMPLE drink order twice. Super slow, unfriendly. Can't believe the service with these prices. Awful.
Indulge in anything from the cheese bar. The burratta with pear, honey and pinenuts is superb.
Please don't leave without trying their Spanish fries.
Huge kudos for blasting "Watch The Throne"
Calamari, Origin Burger, Corn, Spicy Spanish Fries, etc etc, u can't go wrong here.
Wow! Fabulous brunch. The duck confit waffle and Spanish fries we're to die for. Will be coming back.
Great ambiance and great sharing menu...Sashimi style Tuna Salad was delish!
Food was exceptional but small and expensive. Looking for an experience and special night out? Go to Origin. Just want to grab a satisfying meal without breaking the bank? This ain't the place.
Don't go here hungry. The food was great but I left wanting a big Mac
Don't order everything all at once: the food can come out really fast and all at the same time. The calamari is amazing.
These duck tacos are everything.
The hard part is figuring out what you won't like to order!
Great for large groups, plates are for serving. Excellent presentation. Incredibly slow service
The food is unimpressive even for Toronto standards. Food was almost cold and lack of imagination in ingredients. It's a place you go only once.
Try the Chinois Duck, it is pretty good. Portion size is small for the money, but the food is unlikely taste options.
I was reluctant to have a burger with guacamole but the Origin Burger is just amazing!!! Try the combo that comes with Spanish fries and the Float, a weird but very tasty drink mixed with ice cream!!!
Great food but insane prices and painfully slow lunchtime service
Sit at open bar
Just had the eggs benedictine....dish- great choise! Différent from the typical plate you would have in other breakfast places...great combination!
Bay scallop cerviche is a must-try. Also the mozzarella with tomato/pesto/lemon is great.
Try the smoked meat eggs Benedict, or the corned beef hash. Delicious!
Omg! Truffle popcorn is f**king AMAZING! Excellent service!!!
The tostadas for brunch are a delicious mix of textures and flavours! Crunchy, fresh guac, salsa, gooey egg yolk. Add a little hot sauce and you're in breakfast heaven! They'll make it w/o bacon too!
OMG the effin' nom de guerre cocktail.
Wouldn't return. Portions were huge but very average.
The Duck confit French toast is a must try for brunch.
Get the mozorella with pear on crostini. You will not regret it! Sweet and savoury
