Osteria Morini introduces New York to the soulful cuisine and convivial spirit of the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy. The region’s central city is Bologna, most commonly recognized as the home of Maserati and Luciano Pavarotti, but Emilia-Romagna, known as the Italian Breadbasket.
Greatest pasta you'll ever have
Favorite Italian in New York. Handmade pasta is a must. Try the ricotta-stuffed pasta. Great brunch option too--steak and eggs are a personal favorite.
Industry night! 9 pm! $10 pasta!
handmade pastas—frail ricotta gnocchi in light tomato cream, fat tortelli bundles oozing an absurdly rich mix of braised meats
The best authentic pasta dishes! One of NYC's staples!
All time favorite is the seafood salad and a close second is the stracci pasta with mushroom sauce. It's hard not to repeat them every time.
Not the atmosphere, or the food, or the service.
The squid ink pasta with cuttlefish ragu was amazing! I could eat this all day every day
I took everyone's advice and got the Cappelletti and Stracci. It's good but pretty pricy. The two house made cream sodas made me happy through!
The homemade pastas are delicious. We tried the (lighter) mushroom one and the (richer) cappelletti. Both were excellent.
one of my favorite italian restaurants in nyc. can't go wrong but the pastas (gramigna) are 👍 and oh!! go for the meat and cheese plate!!
Wonderful cozy setting in a restored Italian farmhouse. Terrific pasta entrees cooked a la dente.
Feels like you're eating pasta in someone's quaint home 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Great selection of pastas. Homey, comfortable atmosphere.
They serve sparkling red wine here, which tastes strange, but interesting.
Great char on the Polipo: seared baby octopus, wild red rice salad herb oil
Pasta trio at lunch is a great indulgence
the pastas are gorgeous. especially the squid one
One of my favourite restaurants, the staff are great and the pasta is incredible. Try the Garganelli!
From the seafood salad to the Marello eggs, everything was delicious. The chocolate hazelnut dessert is a must try!
YES the gelato is great. The pastas are good but not worth the $20+ cost for most dishes.
Tortelli and tagliatelle are delicious. The Mare was a nice light starter if you like shellfish.
Order the Erbazzone. It's a spinach stuffed pastry with a parmigiano mushroom sauce
Best squid ink pasta ever.
Best pasta in NYC at this price point .
Ricotta tortellini and veal were amazing! Don't miss the Byrrhbon sour!
We had homemade Pasta with Ricotta & Truffles, Veal Cutlet with Prosciutto, Pork Chops, Meatballs of Proscuitto, Calamari and Tiramisu for dessert - were divine. Service was attentive and friendly.
The green lazagna amazing!!
The Stracci is mushroom goodness unparalleled. Be sure to pair it with a good red
Try the polpettine and tagliatelle! 👌
Get the CAPPELLETTI
So good. I love getting a bunch of pastas and sharing.
The pastas and everything classically Italian is teh shit. Mixed seafood grill is amazing, trout crostini is a sleeper hit. Say hi to the manager Nadine 💜. Pretty much can't go wrong here
meat, pasta, negroni, repeat
all of the pasta was extremely fresh and delicious
Pastas are only $10 on Mondays after 9.
I can eat here every day. Best pasta I've ever had.
Great food and wine.
The vegetable risotto is surprisingly delicious! Made with fresh tomatoes, eggplant and zucchini, it is light yet satisfying.
Go for atmosphere, not for food
Super fresh pasta with great ingredients.., always a great meal
Monday late night is industry night. $10 pastas!
Chef Michael White is one of NY most successful chefs. This incredible eatery is extremely relaxing and welcoming. The food is unbelievable! Hands down one of our favorite spots. Try the tagliatelle.
Holy cow this place is yum
