Takoyaki Pioneer. Serving up authentic Japanese street food since 2001.
Amazing takoyaki, same as in Osaka, it was a pleasant experience to find takoyaki&soba in NYC
Dem pancakes 👍
Nutella and banana filling. I've definitely had way better ones before
Get the Takoyaki, it’s heavenly delicious.
There's not much choice for yakisoba or okonomiyaki in NYC so I guess you'll have to do
Takoyaki and okonomiyaki are great here.
The biggest takoyaki I've ever had. Worth the price. Favorite hole in the wall joint when I need more food after a meal
This is how it's done. Gooey on the inside.
Takoyaki is weird in between: a bit too much for a snack, a bit too little for its own meal. Combos way too filling for one though. Delicious any way.
The noodles (yakisoba) or the pancake (okonomiyaki) are both too good to miss. Lucky for us you can get a combo! With a side medetai for dessert of course...
Takoyaki is good.
Their takoyaki is real delicious along with their okomomyaki but it is a long wait sometimes to get the okomomyaki....
Combo B, yes. Do it.
service slow af
Yum! But only has few seats.
Grab lunch or a late night drunken snack with a friend here and split a Combo B. Trust me – it's enough food for three!
Yaki soba and takoyaki Combo C
Japanese street food, new york style...definitely try balls freshly made
Takoyaki in a pinch
It's not the best but it's good enough for some authentic Japanese snacks! The new matcha cake is so so. Enjoying sitting outside with friends and eat
takoyaki & okonomiyaki $7-9, hazelnut and banana medetai $3
hot, crispy outside, chewy inside, cheap, tasty. a must cheap eat in the east village!
first time here and really liked the takoyaki. waited like 15 minutes for it but it was fun watching them make it and it tasted good! wish it had more tako though
Okonomiyaki is so good that is worth waiting. ❤️
looking for Japanese drunk food? this is it. and this is the best. get the combo B: okonominyaki with pork (you want that crispy bacon!) and takoyaki with extra bonito flakes (aka fish bacon)
Octopus balls which are originally called as "Takoyaki" are very interesting and tasteful. $7. No proper seatings, you just have to wish the bench outside is not taken.
New place lacks the charm of the old but the takoyaki is still delicious
Their takoyaki and shrimp yakisoba
Try the red bean-filled, fish-shaped taiyaki pastry thing.
Get the takoyaki while it's still piping hot. You can order okonomiyaki and udon as well.
pancakes with beef
Enjoy the stylized logo of a rabbit with a lead going up its butt. Nature is beautiful.
Great snack when you're hungry, just once in a while.
Larger location, still cash only :p
The food here isn't as good as it was when it first opened at it's original location. Sad because it used to be the best!
Their takoyaki (octopus ball) is unforgettable. Love it!
Takoyaki are Japanese fried balls of savory pancake-like patter, with octopus in the middle (they look a little like Dunkin’ Donuts Munchkins).
Takoyaki are Japanese fried balls of savory pancake-like patter, with octopus in the middle. They’re served piping hot with gooey insides, and covered in a bunch of sauces and bonito flakes
They moved up the block, over by yakiniku west.
Takoyaki ve okonomiyaki combimasyonunu alın ikisinin de tadıha bakmış olun
Get some Takoyaki. Sit in front and people watch. Eat. Get some more. Repeat.
Pancakes were really delicious but the octopus balls were a bit of a let down... Try were quite cold as they had been sitting out.
Cute little Takoyaki stand. Sign says fits only 3 people so wait outside! Reminds me of Japan :)
Get combo B: okonomiyaki + 6 tokoyaki. V good
