The famous Oxford Street. Plenty of shops and places to go. Also it's where all the tourists seem to congregate. You should never arrange to meet anyone here because it's so chaotic!

The place is overwhelming with the best brands. For great bags and cosmetics, try Selfridge and House of Frasier. For those who are on a tight budget, H&M, M&S and Primark are there.

If you need to get from one end of Oxford Street to the other, during peak times, it's probably easier and quicker to use public transport rather than fighting through the crowds on the pavement

Must do in London. A lot of stores and cafes. If you would like to have a glass of cider you better turn to the smaller streets not far from here.

Hard to resist shopping here. Oh, and if you're here, for funk's sake! Don't buy the dang football clubs' keychains and what not. They're more expensive than the clubs' merch shops themselves!

Avoid the Tottenham Court Rd end - lots of construction works and really bad tourist stores. It gets better half way up towards Oxford Circus, and beyond towards Selfridges.
