Hit Pagoda right after it opens (10 a.m.) on the weekend to score some of the best fresh dim sum in the area — cart after cart of tasty morsels, prepared with care and enthusiasm.
Green beans and garlic are to die for 😃
Friendly staff and delicious sesame chicken.
The pork in dark soy sauce is phenomenal and definitely comparable to what I'm used to eating back home in Malaysia!
Nice Sunday specials
Iced coffee is 👌
All you can eat hot pot for $30. Pros: the fish filets and tofu were both very tender. cons: The szechuan broth was good but had too much szechuan peppers that makes your mouth numb.
Cream cheese wontons aren't too cheesy (good). Tons of happy hour specials throughout the week. Really great value!
Overpriced, and less than average food. The cream cheese puffs lacked cream cheese, the dumplings were bland and the egg rolls were alright.
Lunch buffet is an absurd amount of food at a good price. Generally pretty decent food.
No point in having cocktails on the menu if it's going to be out of stock. Service kinda sucks. Try the chicken wings.
If of says mock duck with vegetables don't put 98% tofu in it.
Dim Sum is 20% off before 11:00am on Saturday & Sunday ( they open at 10:00am)
The Golden Garlic Shrimp #dank
Love the food but the waitress we had we could barely understand. Then she basically ignored us. I would say to come here just make sure you can understand the waiter or waitress.
Great people good service.
Staff was slow. I ordered a custard bun. The guy brings me back a pork bun. Then the 2nd try he brings me a custard TART. 3rd time I had to physically get it myself. Overall I will not eat there again
Dim sum is expensive. I ordered 4 dishes & it was $30. At Mandarin Kitchen I'd get way more and better quality for that price.
It's cold out. Save the walk next time and get it delivered by
salt & pepper chicken wings are aaaaamazing!
Salt and Pepper Wings double up is the best!
Best staff for a Chinese restaurant! LOL
Tuesday all day happy hour: $1 any domestic beer, $2 any imported beer, $3 any large imported beer.
Try the steamed mini buns. They are like soup gushers. Delic!
decent chinese, i like the karaoke place inside.
Great lunch specials and newly added HH specials for Mon and Tues
Awesome HH - i recommend ordering the salt & pepper chicken wings (if you double up, the 2nd one will be only $0.99). Plus, 2-4-1 beers - pretty much self explanatory there ;)
Amazing Dim Sum on the weekends!
They serve dim sum on Saturday and Sunday mornings, however it's kinda pricey
Highly recommend: Har kow, pork sticky rice, crab claw, shrimp fun roll, cilantro dumpling and coconut pudding.
Don't let the huge menu scare you, ask the friendly staff for help!
Best dim sum in Minneapolis. Don't forget to try it.
The buffet is Pagoda is an excellent value. I really like the spicy fish, the garlicky green beans, and the tofu.
