Though it has done away with its lavish buffet brunch, breakfast in The Garden Court still offers a traditional bloody mary as classic as the hotel itself — spicy, rich, and full of vodka. Read more

Just come for an expensive cocktail in the lobby to admire the beautiful ceiling and chandeliers. Service took too long but hey, free roasted almonds and live music on a thursday night.

Worst service for a hotel.. stay at the fourseasons next door 1000x better for same price! This is an overpriced doubletree...

$15 WiFI? Is this 2016 or 2006? Get with the times! Just because you're an old hotel doesn't mean you have to be old and stubborn!

Pluses: excellent concierge team, comfortable beds. Minuses: all the rest, namely no security in an area that demands it, poor F&B offering, bad sound insulation in rooms. Not up to par for 4 stars.

Check out garden court. Even if you don't have brunch here, it's beautiful and this is one of the oldest hotels in San Francisco.

Super thin walls. Bring earplugs for your stay. Parents with kids aren't considerate enough to stop them from running down the halls screaming at 8am.

I heard good things but this place is way overpriced for the experience. Didn't feel "welcome" at all. Staff never says 'hi' even when you walk right by them. No coffee & $15 Wifi sucks too.
