Step inside this place of government! The frescoed courtyard's free; the museum upstairs is worth a visit (open late, too). Check out paintings by Vasari & the luscious Chapel of Eleonora by Bronzino.

This massive, Romanesque, crenellated fortress-palace is among the most impressive town halls of Tuscany. In front of the copy of David statue and the gallery of statues in adjacent Loggia dei Lanzi.

A great option for a sight to see in the evening. It stays open later than most other sights and offers a chance to see a lot of Vasari's works.

The best time to visit is in the evening. There is no people and it's less hot+ night and live music on the square are making awesome atmosphere.

A really cool architectural Palazzo, which is still home of local politics. The "hall of five hundred" and the tower are the best parts!

I recommend to visit it at the evening - there could be only a few people along with you, more time to spend, charming atmosphere, splendid views to evening Florence.

Contains only one work by Michelangelo, but almost contained a massive fresco, opposite another by Leonardo, neither of which were finished, unfortunately.
