The food is great but the diner is still operating in the 1800, so be sure to take cash. They do not take credit cards.

I know it sounds crazy considering the restaurant is named Pancake Pantry. But the best item on the menu is the French Toast.

Great food and it shows, the line is usually out the door. The wait is well worth it. Be sure to bring cash, as cards are not accepted.

Do NOT order the bacon and cheese omelet. Awful. 2 egg "omelet" with a slice of American cheese + maybe one slice of bacon crumbled ON TOP. the omelet wasn't all...with anything. Sad.

Its ok, not really worth as much as they charge when you can get the same food at other pancake houses for half the price. I would not stand in line for more than 15 min. To get in their

Not impressed. $15.00 for one person for breakfast and Perkins has better pancakes. You get a lot of food and the place is cute but won't return. #dontbelievethehype

Amazing pancakes, best I have ever had. The eggs, bacon and grits were just as amazing at noon! Good service. They don't accept credit so make sure you have plenty of cash!

Don't buy in to the naysayers about not taking credit cards. Boo hoo. There's a cash machine next to the register. And if you think it's too pricey then maybe you can't afford to eat here.

    Glenn Shepard · June 25, 2013

I don't like breakfast food and I love this place. This is the very treasure of Gatlinburg.

    Kris Gurley · June 10, 2013

Well the wait staff is clearly angry at tourists and the disdain is thinly veiled. Management is not much better. The food is adequate for a low end tourist trap. All in all give this a miss
