Motown the Musical
Musicals and music
Very classic theater I went to phantom of the opera there
An absolute classic in Los Angeles. I've been going to musicals and shows here since I was a kid. It's beautiful inside. Parking is available in multiple lots in the area!
One of the great venues
Great shows & Seats in the first rows from the left. Parking is cheaper and better than others so arrive at least 40min before the show cause there is a waiting like amways Or use the valet parking.
Once owned by Howard Hughes
Howard Hughes haunts his office upstairs.
Made to order Asian bowels for $7
Wicked show was very nice. Sit in the balcony dead center. Great view of any show.
Beautiful, old-school Hollywood theater. Not a bad seat in the house.
Excellent venue with outstanding acoustics
Beautiful lobby art.
Faves: Wicked, Chicago, Lion King
Howard Hughes says hello. His ghost wanders the hallways
Park for $10, eat at Delphine, then walk across the street.
Don't worry about the girls bathroom line. It is very orderly and fast
The art and the architecture are amazing here. A lot of the Disney musicals and the best of Broadway play here.
Here to see Pippin.
Jersey boys are back again !
This is the premiere touring house in Los Angeles.
I could spend an hour just looking at the ceilings
The Mormons book amazing musical
The Book Of Mormon!
NEVER listed at TKTS. Buy tickets from box office instead of online to avoid having to pay the extra fees when you order online ($60-125 depending on ticket price).
Enjoy dinner at the nearby Off Vine Restaurant.
Parking in the back is $30
I saw The Phantom of the Opera there twice and it was amazing. I love this theater. They really bring their shows to life and you have a great view regardless if your in the balcony or the floor!
When Howard Hughes bought the Theater in 1949, he was in it for the long haul. The aviator has been seen countless times by employees, walking through walls to where his old office would have been.
Gorgeous theatre better than the broadway ones I've been too!
Lovely theater! Snap a few pictures in the lobby. A warning - no pictures in the theater, so be fast if you're the rule breaking type. Cheap and yummy dinner across the street at Chicken Dijon.
Great Art Deco interior!!!
They no longer offer rush tickets, but they DO offer tickets that start at $25! Every seat's a great seat. Definitely my go-to to see a show <3
The no photography rule goes for phones too. If you want to try to take a picture of the stage without flash before the show, go for it but chances are the ushers will yell at you.
If you eat at Delphine you can valet your car there for $8 and get it after the show.
Dinner at dillons before the show. Mmmm. So good
I have been to many performances here. The best seats are the benches in the lobby. It is beautiful inside but they need to remodel the seats. Better seating at The Ahmanson or La Mirada Theaters.
Don't forget about the upstairs bathrooms!
Eat at Dillion's prior to any performance great food and service!
The best way to get tickets is to be a season ticket holder.
get there early for the Lottery!!!
They have the 'no photography in the theater' rule which is out of date for cell phones, should make it no flash photography at all & none at all, of any type once the show starts.
Book of Mormon, suckas!
Book of Mormon was a lot of fun, but nothing less than $20 to $25 for parking in the vicinity? That's outrageous!
