To run the best coffee shop and not the biggest coffee shop...
lovely quaint place to chill but the entrance isn't by the main road so please take note!
great coffee, ambience and most of all service (:
Papa Palheta does a great flat white, and the place is really cozy and pleasant.
Superb locally prepared coffee. Probably the best in Singapore.

The same people at Loysel's Toy, head over to Papa Palheta for some serious coffee tasting. You may even pick the beans you want, get them to ground it for you, so that you can pack it back home !
Most awesome coffee/chill out spot in Singapore!
The latte here reminds me of the ones I had back in Melbourne. It's da bomb!!
The temperature of their latte is perfect.
The temperature of their latte is just right.
Must buy back their terra firma houseblend. Talk to Dennis for more info. Nice chap
Dennis is such a nice chap! Knows his coffee and made me a mean espresso! Kudos!
A whole world away from the bustling city. Setting is informal n paying for wat u wan is a uniquely personal touch!
We got issues with the bukit timah outlet. Their landlord has stopped them serving sit down coffee. Its to-go only. :(
I love this place
don't come on a weekend!!
Restauranteur uncle from Melbourne said that the double latte rivals some of the best cafe rated by the Melbourne Age recently. And he liked the drip Colombian, very smooth and balanced.
Jaclyn made me one of the best drips I have ever tasted :) she works only on wed though :(
keep an eye out for their new outlet when they open maybe in Jan11!
Toraja Drip is a must try!!
Cappuccino is simply awesome here!
Try the long black here. Do note no sugar will be added :)
Finally decent coffee in Singapore. Beats Starsucks anytime. The only downside in my opinion are the smokers outside. They should consider banning it.
They sell Keep cups. $16 each. :)
Try the Cappuccino
Love their drip coffee. Better than the cups I had in Vietnam.
If you like something milk based, try the cappuccino! For the drip, check out the Ethiopian Sidamo
GREAT COFFEE. Wish there was better ventilation. Love the coffee none the less! Down to earth place & staff.
Ditch the 'bux, TCC, and all other wannabe coffee houses, this place is the real deal. Premium, fair trade, ecofriendly coffee at it's best.
try the peruvian drip and talk to Dennin, the owner, for the background story of how they came to start it.
Give generously for the fantastic coffee u are having! Cheers!
Forget big names with bad coffee... Papa's has the best coffee in Singapore TO DATE. oh, and purchase yourself a keep cup too! :D
Awesome coffee. Friendly folks. They get your coffee right.
At thus tasting house, u can taste watever coffee u like for free. Then buy the beans u like!
Do try their ice mocha double shots with extra chocolate, it's heavenly nice for a hot Sunday.
Come here to get your morning fix! We promise we'll get your coffee right :)
Keepcup and Hario coffee brewing products are sold here!
Ill be pissed off if this place closes down. I'm not the mayor, but I care.
Sit outside. Especially when the weather is overcast, its not too hot.
Check out the old school coffee hand grinders...
Say bye bye tcc and come to a real cafe. Feels like a little of old Singapore and captures a little of the new Singapore. Staff actually want to work here.
Coffee heaven on earth :)
Found this place through a newspaper clippings sometime in 09, had a serene morning tasting the long black. full bodied, and not washed down with too much water. can't find in starbucks nor coffeebean
