Parallel 37 offers globally-inspired cuisine that is artistically creative, disciplined and intriguing, perfectly paired with wine, beer or handcrafted cocktails.
This place is great. The food is amazing the staff and service is perfect. The recommendations were bullseyes. Put this one on the top of your list. If you don't like it send me the bill.
Parallel 37 now only serves the following for dinner: 3 Course prix-fixe menu $65, 5 Course tasting $95, 8 Course tasting menu $135. That's a good deal compared to most places I go to for dinner.
Very good for lunch, not for breakfast!
To discover Chef Michael Rotondo's cuisine, try 3 to 5 dishes since the portion size is comparable to a tasting course size.
The new chef, Michael Rotondo, is producing amazing food. Great write up on www.sfgate.com
The tiny little raw oysters were an absolute rip-off, but the Riesling was exceptional. Wouldn't mind coming back just for the wine.
Chocolate pistachio mousse!
Lemon verbena panna cotta
If you have a group of 8 or less, ask to be seated at the Mayor's table. Also the carrot ravioli is delish!!!
The foie gras here is a must! Very delicious.
Try the mascarpone French toast!
I'm sad five-star restaurant, The Dining Room closed. Parallel 37 is so-so. The service is very slow and poorly timed. The desserts are tiny and not that good. The decor is pretty though.
Crispy chicken is delish!
I think P37 is the new slanted door (of nob hill). #)
