The grande dame of Austin theatres is old, ornate, and awesome. Sit in the balcony for a better view of the ceiling mural, and don't forget a sweater – they like to crank the A/C.

Summer classic film series is a must every year, and flix tix is the way to go. Seeing a Marx brothers film at a theater where the brothers actually performed is priceless.
Paramount has the rudest ushers. Seriously.
More handicapped seating on FLAT ground.
Has 1,300 seats. You can be standing in a line around the corner to Brazos and still get in. For popular films don't leave gaps next to a person beside you to avoid people stepping over you.
Try the popcorn!

This theater holds 1,200 people so don't let a long line scare you off.

Gorgeous cinema! It's impressive it's full during the SXSW. If you want to check any film during the festival, buy the cinema badge and be on the line early! But I would go there for any film.
