Very nice hotel in an average area.
Pretty decent, also gym is on the 3rd floor, don't say you didn't know!
Rooms are clean, and spacious. Hotel staff is attentive. Only hotel we stay at in the city.
Nice hotel to stay at in the city.
Location is awesome, accommodations are really good.
wish they had room service
left a good review. but man, the separated breakfast? feels like apartheid lol
29th floor view
Ask for a room on a high floor - the views are the highlight of this hotel.
Great rooms with a view and delicious breakfast!
True that the window amplifies street noise, but the gym was quite useful. Hard to find an alternative in the middle of the city these days
Ewwwwwww worst hotel in sf. No room service? Tiny rooms. Pitiful bar. I'm embarrassed to say I've been here
Little overpriced, Marriot Marquis costs the same and has nicer rooms.
Nice view from room service is good
Looks shabby from the outside, but very plush on the inside. Extremely friendly staff and luxurious rooms. Would highly recommend for somewhere central to stay in SF.
This is my favorite hotel while staying in SF
Big rooms although poor wifi in the rooms
Top floor is a 10! Let them turn down your bed and find a chocolate on your pillow.
Package pickup counter downstairs in lobby area. Service staff there rude n not helpful. Lazy n refuse to chk for yr package. I had to refer this to the duty manager to get my package. Disappointing.
don't bother paying for the basic wifi. can barely handle sending/receiving emails
The only good thing about this place is the location. That's it.
Good location. Be sure to close windows tightly to reduce noise.
The fact that people have been complaining about the wifi since 2010 says a lot about the entire experience.
Bad wifi, shitty breakfast
Hotel registration always has a line. Plan on waiting. Continental breakfas?Have your room number available or be prepared to pay. Staff will track you down for your $, and are not friendly.
Remarkably bad service at the front desk. Convention week and a line 15 deep is left waiting for 20 minutes while a single desk attendant fails to process even one guest checkin.
Warning: complimentary breakfast is a fake!
NYE Massive 2014 Party at Parc 55 Hotel Union Square, San Francisco, CA, early @ Tuesday December 31 2013. Grab your tickets @ http://tinyurl.com/olzsubg
Psst. Pretend you filled out a survey for complimentary in-room internet and they'll probably give you a free upgrade.
The pillows in this hotel come in two sizes. 1- half mattress. 2- Polly pocket.
Hotel's seriously old, dirty, noisy, crappy, with no minibar! Definitely overpriced for what it is. Concierge is rude and very very slow! Concierge is also always busy-maybe w ppl complaining!!!
They say its renovated... I say its old!
DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU NEED INTERNET. The Internet is so slow Jesus laughed, waited 2,000 years, came back to Earth, threw an apocalypse and google still hasn't loaded.
DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU NEED INTERNET. The Internet is so bad I posted this from my StarTac flip phone on a modem. I hope someone sees this in the future.
DANGER ZONE. If you need internet do not stay here. ~30% packet loss on the extra cost "premium" WiFi with an average 760ms ping to google when it doesn't timeout.
The tips about street noise in the rooms are no joke. The complimentary ear plugs are a must, even on the 19th floor.
Sub par amenities.
Just a room in an overpriced area. Won't stay again.
Great customer service. Due to a problem in our room they gave us complementary Internet and a $25 coupon for the restaurant.
hotel is amazing, and the restaurant/bar is great! and great location
Plenty of USB ports for recharging in your room. Use MUNI or BART to go anywhere
Ask to stay in room 01 on any floor. Best view in the place!
If you want to sleep in, make sure you have your "do not disturb" sign outside your door. Housekeeping comes by as early as 8:30am.
Coldstone Creamery is just around the corner. Beds and pillows are comfortable. Surprised at how noisy it was even on 19th floor. Pleasant experience all around.
Reasonably priced hotel in the heart of the city. Room was nice, but you could hear everything outside (and I was on the 25th floor)!
Free wifi in lobbies on 1st & 2nd floors. Also, good exercise room on 3rd floor.
Most uncomfortable hotel bed ever - and the street noises?! How do you now have sound proof windows? Even NYC is quieter (was awoken by gun shots and sirens last night). gym is amazing though!
