Park Chalet Garden Restaurant is located in San Francisco's famous Golden Gate Park. We offer beautiful grounds, delicious food and drinks and live music.
This place could not be worse. We want to like it and have gone repeatedly but they have been out of pizzas, rude bartenders, and tell us they were surprised by the crowd so not prepared. Skip!!
Nice spot across from the beach. Nice outdoor area in the back.
We love their dog-friendly, dog friendly outdoor space! Bring your pup to dinner with you and sit in their patio!
Food is just o-k, but the location is tops.
Make sure to wave your hands in the air if you want service. The staff is blind and lazy.
bring a blanket to sit on. the Fisherman's Catch is great to share.
Beach Chalet and Park Chalet are kind of like a mullet: business in the front, party in the back!
Awesome wings, but only if you want but a few bites.
Great for meeting friends! Live outdoor music in a very people & pooch friendly park atmosphere!
Nice place five to hangout with your friends and furry pals specially on a nice day
Lawn seating on a sunny day with a cold pint...hard to beat.
The stout was good, burgers were great, but service was lackluster. Awesome spot for bringing kids in the afternoon.
Great place for thanksgiving
Service is not so great and tables were dirty, although pizza crust is really good.
This has access to the garden outside and you can see the tips of the Dutch windmills from inside, but no beach view. For that you want the Beach chalet upstairs (in the same building).
Not great accommodations for mobility impaired. They have a lift elevator, but it is open & very public when you or your loved one descend & reascend. No reason to be embarrassed, but might feel funny
Taco Tuesdays, large, eclectic ales on tap, 2 for 1 margaritas served in high ball glass. Great during the winter evenings. Explore the museum before you eat. Take a date upstairs for drinks, dessert!
The lobster sausage with spaetlz is great.
Sit out on the patio and enjoy a whiskey especially on a cold afternoon. There's something distinctly San Francisco about it.
Nice setting at the edge of Golden Gate Park. I was here on a cloudy day but could imagine it to be quite beauty on a sunny day. Otherwise it's average bar food and drinks. Oh and it's dog friendly.
Worst place ever, by far the most absent staff. Disappointing food that is sloppy and flavorless. Don't waste your time and money.
Nice fresh food for lunch and nice location
Come on one of the five days a year that it's sunny out here. Bring a blanket. Sit on the grass and enjoy the table (well, blanket) service and house brewed beers.
Really impressed with the atmosphere and the food for brunch. Beat brunch I've found in a while and bottomless mimosas can't be beat!
grab a seat or sit on the lawn out back in the garden, and order from the bar.
Happy hour actually now M,W-F from3-6pm, 9pm!
History will judge your life to be a complete failure if you leave without ordering the cookie dessert thing. It's delicious. It's warm. It's for you.
Sit in the back at the lounge chairs, have some yummy food and a beer with ur pup.
Watch out for the rude bald manager!
The only good thing about this place is its wifi. Skip it.
If you're eating outside, all your food will arrive cold. Do not be fooled thrice.
I like the pork sliders the house salad with diced up apples and the champagne. I always sit outside too. The back yard is so pretty and green.
Order their juicy and delicious lamb burger -- it won't disappoint!
having a beer on the lawn on a rare sunny day is the best thing to do in san francisco
Great beer! Bad service.
Avoid this whole area
Growlers of beer on the grass... it's heaven!!! :)
Bring your dog! Plenty of room in the outside eating area.
Great beers and often live music outdoors facing Golden Gate Park.
Order the deep dish chocolate chip cookie and their stout beer. You're welcome.
Oh and the Riptide Red Ale (house brewed) beer is the best.
Dan is the best server ever. If you eat here, make sure he's your server
You need to ask the waitress to get seated on the lawn. Is that US culture or just pretentious?
The mojito taste like shit.
Do yourself a huge favor and eat the vanilla bean creme brûlée! You will thank yourself, trust me.
