The most beautiful government building I've ever seen. Made in neogothic style, it looks stunning both day and night time. But admission fee is frustrating: 20 € (non-EU) for 30 min with a group tour.

Top notch building in Hungary, a neo-gothic palace with neo-Renaissance dome. Built for the 1000 yr anniversary of the Hungarians in 1896 (but finished in 1902). Best views at sunset across the Danube

Amazing building during the day, impressive to watch during the night, the tallest building in Budapest. Many parts of it’s interior are made with gold, here you´ll find the Hungarian crown

Architectonical monument of whole Budapest- it's so huge that you can see its part quite from all parts of the city.Below it's a riverwalk path, from which you can take snaps of it,especially at night.

Beautiful building on the river, surrounded by beautifully landscaped public space. A cute little yellow tram#2, keeps running along side it. Make sure to visit it after sunset as well.

The most amazing building in Budapest. The visit is short but worth it for the low price. Buy the ticket in advance, they sell out. You won't miss much if you take the tour in another language.

You should try the guided tour (it is pretty interesting and it has a low price). I also recommend the Danube cruise at night so you can see the amazing architecture also by night :)

Definitely worth having a look inside although the ticket price is rather high for the value of the tour. Be sure to arrive 5 minutes in advance.

Make a reservation online and of you are joining the last tour (6pm), you do not have more than 10 minutes in the last room where you have "as long as you want". It is a quick and enjoyable tour.

You can go inside only with guided tour groups. Book online and bring ids or passports. Waiting in the queue to book a tour is a waste of time. Tours last ~ 30'.

Tours are half price to those with an EU passport, so bring yours along if you have one. There's no cloakroom, so avoid having a heavy backpack or bag with you if you can.

From time to time there's guard change ceremony outside of the parliament, but it's too much theatrical. The real guard change takes place inside in the Dome Chamber where the King's crown is excibited
