People tend to check in during these times:
Only wine shop in the area worth visiting but plan your visit smartly, go between 2 and 4 on Saturdays for tastings and plan to buy something unique, great uncommon liquor options as well.
Try their 'house' everything. Guaranteed delicious.
Worth a walk over the bridge or a ferry ride. Small but diverse selection, especially from Italy, with some great choices for all price ranges.
The back room is a lovely space for parties; great wines and food from local restaurants!
Buying wine should be an event with experience attach to it! Passnella give you that feeling! Thanks Ryan!!
my favorite wine shop in the city. pick up a case of their private label white or red...or both! great table wines for under $11.
Best wine store in the financial district!
We're looking forward to pouring Garrigon's Cotes du Rhone (out the box!) and Ginglinger's biodynamic Pinot Blanc at the in-store pouring 12 to 4 this Sunday.
Check out our Garrigon Cotes du Rhone box and Domaine Jean-Ginglinger *biodynamic Pinot Blanc
One of my favorite wine shops. Stop by btwn noon & 4 on Sundays for tastings. Perfect way to finish a tour of the South Street Seaport or New Amsterdam Market
House red, by the case, is one of the best deals going in the world of NYC wine stores.
You must grab a bottle of the Pasanella & Sons red and white wines or go all out and get a case for $118
The husband and wife duo that owns the shop have a great design aesthetic. Sold the ferari parked inside a few years back but this little blue car is tres chic! Sip 'N Sail starts again
Yes. The house Rosso is as good as everyone below says it is! And such a great deal too! Medium bodied, uber fruity, with a silky bright finish. Perfect for pairing. Esp w/my spicy chicken chili!
The first thing you’ll notice upon entering their acclaimed digs? A 1967 Ferrari parked smack in the middle of the store, its trunk propped open to reveal dozens of hand-selected wines from Italy.
Easily one of my favorite wine shops in the entire NYC metro. Do yourself a favor if you don't live near the seaport- just pick up a couple cases of their house labeled wine. You won't be sorry.
Lovely local wine and spirits store. Try the Camut 6-year-old Calvados for a real treat.
Many great under 15 bottles, helpful staff and good house made (in italy) wine
They made their own wine and its awesome. NYTimes wrote about it. I've had it before too.
One of my favorite wine shops. An interesting selection, great service, and one of the most beautifully designed stores as well. -Anita Lo, Top Chef Masters
