Home of the Hurricane, the flaming fountain and dueling pianos!
The piano bar is amazing. They know every song. Mix with Hurricane for classic Nola
Hurricanes in the courtyard at Pat O'Brien's is basically a rite of passage for anyone who visits New Orleans. Go on a breezy night if you can.
FUN place, got to try the famous hurricane, very good. Food is pretty good. Love the dueling pianos, VERY lively, great place to meet people 👍😄
Drinks and ambiance
One of the only places I'll go on bourbon
Sit on the patio and drink a hurricane. And for those who don't drink, sit on the patio and drink an Eye of the Hurricane. They're a delicious non-alcoholic alternative!
Hurricanes for here or to go. If you're staying, check out the piano bar!
Guessing the dualing pianos bar has a lifetime guarantee. If it catches fire, you're dead!
Obviously, you're here so get a Hurricane. But branch out and try the other specialty drinks, all while enjoying some tunes at the piano bar or the outdoor patio.
See some dueling pianos, requests some songs, and have a hurricane or two.
Hurricane to go on a warm day. Refreshing drink in a party atmosphere! It was St. Patrick's Day!

Can get really packed with fratastics sometimes, but if you can go at a slower time, the patio's great.
Hopping at night. A courtyard on steroids.
Food is bad and service is poor.
Classic touristy bar in New Orleans - go grab a hurricane and enjoy the outdoor patio!
Amazing venue! Is a must see in Nola. You should try the Hurricane cocktail here!
Great relaxing haven off of bourbon street. Strong fans keep you cool.
Touristy but decent prices and good atmosphere.
Upon entering, the line to your right is for the piano bar. Feel free to step left for a regular bar or go past straight for open-air seating and food.
Awesome patio space to sip on those famous hurricanes.
Food and drinks
Have the Hurricane! I loved the Debris Shepherd's Pie.
What can I say? A must stop
Classic Bourbon street bar, get a Hurricane and explore the Piano bar and courtyard.
Famous spot. Cool backyard area. Can't have more than one hurricane a night, but it's worth trying.
Make sure you return your Hurricane glass at the bar! They charge for it on your bill but they'll give you $3 in cash when you return it.
So good! The food was amazing, the ambiance was beautiful and my hurricane was delicious! Our waitress was super nice as was the bartender.
Great drinks, get the hurricane like everybody else. Love the outdoor area! Cozy in the evening when they light the fire in the fountain. Good for dates
If you like sweet drinks that get you tipsy fast, get a Hurricane. Remember to bring the glass back and they'll refund you $3.
duh... you can't leave without a HURRICANE!!
The hurricanes are great!!!
Solid gumbo. Beautiful courtyard space
Home of the Hurricane. No visit to New Orleans is complete without a visit to Pat O'Brian's
Unfortunately, the red beans and rice tastes no better than unseasoned refried beans. The hurricanes are of course strong😊, and the catfish and wings are flavorful.
Hurricane drink is the go to. Just off bourbon street it is an original. Must go to when in New Orleans
Have tried Hurricanes all over the city & this one is still our favorite. The fountain & industrial fans are a great setting to enjoy a sultry evening. To-go cups always available.
Obviously you get a Hurricane here. Take it to go for your walk home if you can't finish.
Very touristy!! They charge $3 per glass which you get cash back from at the bar or you get to keep them. Different prices for the three sections. Courtyard is pretty and is the mid priced one.
Catfish is awesome
Great food and drinks
The Hurricane is overrated and they'll charge you for the glass if you don't mention that you don't want it... It's too touristy! On the +side, bars create a very good ambiance and the patio is top!
Hurricanes while waiting in line for preservation hall! Try to get a hat too
A historic must visit. Get a hurricane and save the glass for a souvenir. They have a bar, a separate piano bar and a cool outdoor patio!
1 hurricane enough to sweep you away 🙀
Enjoy a drink in the prettiest courtyard in New Orleans. If you don't want to lug the souvenir glass around town, return it to the bar for a refund.
Loud and long wait but love it. Grab a hurricane!
