Pease Park has a lot to offer whether you want to get in shape on the walking trails or play in the splash fountain and playground. Bringing water is a great idea because the fountains are sparse.

If you're looking to play disc golf, try the course at Zilker Park instead. The City of Austin closed the Pease Park course in 2010 for environmental reasons.

My favorite disc golf course in Austin. Good variety of holes. It has a couple bombers an a few easy ones and everything in between.
