For dinner, pork stew was light but hardy, unique and flavorful, seasoned perfectly. Fried chicken, 2 tiny, dry enough to cut gums pieces w a stale biscuit bordered b/w an insult and a rip off.

Wow, buscuit was super tasty! Built mine with eggs, cheese and fried chicken, all of them great in their own right and even better together.
Spiced Colada was highlighted on TimeOut New York
Try the Sausage
Try the Biscuit With Egg And Country Ham
Get a graham cracker from the bakery.
Don't get the $4 8oz soda. Highway robbery.
The perfect atmosphere for brunch, and the food is delicious! The "gobble-cado" sandwich is one of my favorites. The cheddar jalapeño grits are a must have.
Have to get biscuit
Great brunch place in the Bowery
Build your own biscuit. Do it.
Gobblecado. It's a sandwich of smoked turkey with creamy avocado and a chili mayo that does a great job of perking up those mild flavors; Cotija cheese adds the perfect salty bite.
Order the Grassroots Sour cocktail. It's the single best cocktail in NYC.
Tasso chips are the best!!
I've never liked gravy in my life and I liked it here.
The biscuit with eggs, cheese and sausage was incredible.
Shrimp and grits and the graham cracker...yummmm.
Cheddar biscuit: toddler heaven.
I doubt you could get a better breakfast in New York, Wonderful
We can't get enough of the build-your-own-biscuit breakfast sandwiches to cure our weekend hangovers. Order what we order: egg, sausage, cheese and red eye gravy.
Here for brunch? The fried chicken sandwich is a must. The BLT was meh, but the cinnamon donut made up for it. Drinks are poured with a heavy hand, especially the Bloody Mary's.
Brunch on the terrace ! Food is good. (Put cheese in your biscuit) the side French fries is huge : perfect for 2
Summer Vegetable Gratin. Soooo goooood. Yum!!!
Shrimp and grits to the face! Now!
The fried chicken is excellent. The biscuit is dry and crumbly.
Secret burger: Piedmontese beef slathered w. homemade pimento cheese, topped w. bacon, pickle jalapeño slaw, pickles, lettuce. On the side: homemade tater tots.
LOVED it - great vibe, drinks and food. fried chicken, the "orange" cocktail are both yummy and I need to make it back for dessert - donut bread pudding!!! back for sure.
Try the Build Your Own Biscuit: Fried Chicken, Gravy, Scrambled Eggs
Fried green tomato BLT was phenomenal!
Don't miss the Housemade Tasso potato chips
They serve Sir Kensington's ketchup! Ain't no Heinz here fool!!
Make your own biscuit! So yummy.
Delicious brunch menu! Plenty of seating...Loved the shrimp & grits!
Love the look and feel of this place! The food here is pretty delish (maybe a little over priced)! The service, however, is just plain awful. They disappoint me every time.
Try the Texas 75! Refreshing & delish!
Ask for the special burger. It's not on the menu, but it's delicious and heaped with bacon. Oh, and the fries get swapped out for some ridiculously good homemade tater tots.
Bring your own ketchup. This sir Kensington stuff they give you tastes like marinara sauce. I hope this is not some new "gourmet" trend.
I had the Fried Chicken Sandwich. Just the right lunch in size and quality. Excellent taste!
First time here and its so cute! It's pricey, but the food is really good. Thumbs up to the coffee too. A nice place to have brunch :)
