    You can tell where they usually set the saganaki on fire because the fake plastic grape arbors on the ceiling are all singed and melted

    Real greek food. Start with saganaki (with shrimp would be better, be sure to shout opa!) and you can't lose if you try the Dolmathes. Serving size is fair. Mind the service, they are like distracted

    Pegasus Tavernas has been a Greektown staple for almost 25 years. For hearty Hellenic food outside of a Coney Island, Pegasus is your best bet in metro Detroit. [Eater 38 Member]

    wonderful place.Our waiter Scott was great, friendly, &helpful. Service is top notch and my vegetarian moussaka was to die for. Tzadiki &saganaki were delic apps. They accommodated our large Group too

    Ask for a Michigan made beer. When they tell you they don't carry tell them there are 100 breweries in Michigan they have no excuse. Then order water.
