The Chendul here is definitely the best in Penang. Ais Kacang here is good too. It's always crowded on weekends and holidays. Follow the typical Malaysian style, stand and eat in front of the stall!

Don't mistake Mr Tans competitor across the road, you can tell, there is no Q, and, is 10sen cheaper. Once you buy your chendol, just walk down a few shoplots to his shop, air conditioned no xtra $.

The infamous cendol is very yummy!! RM2.50, and expect to stand by the roadside to devour your dessert; fast service despite the huge crowd. Just join the queue.

Cendol can be ordered from the stall outside to be delivered into Joo Hooi Coffeeshop. Just pay a minimal surcharge and u can enjoy it sitting down. Very long queue.

May buy and sit inside a corner shop further down a bit without charges. The small corner shop selling laksa and rojak and a lot of photos on wall.May try their laksa but not their rojak (expensive!).

Nothing better on a hot sweltering day than an ice cold bowl of chendol. There are now seats at the green shophouse (uncle will direct you there) but standing by the roadside to eat has more feel!

I grew up with cendol (as we called it in Indonesia). Having the chendul here was a nice down-the-memory-lane experience! I prefer having it without red bean, just like the good old days! Pretty cool!

It was really good & so was the laksa. If you come at a non peak time, u might be lucky enough to get a seat at their store. The cendol costs rm2.50, while the laksa costs rm4.

The cendol here is the same as the stall at jalan Penang. At least here there's proper seating and air condItion. There's more choices of chendol and also you can have your Assam laksa.

Awesome cold coconut green jelly dessert drink in a bowl. Delicious and may not be 100% hygienic but we still love this. Fastest serving i have ever seen. Love these.

Don't go for this stall (the long queue with pck picture on the stall) go for the opposite stall. The opposite stall have better coconut smell & aroma

Very very disappointed with the quality, Not made with pure rice flour like the older days, chendol shouldn't be jelly-like transparent! Also very thin, unlike the old fat chendol. I'm from Penang.

Cendol taste is good, when u eat out side cost you 1.90, if u bring into the coffee shop, damn it, charge extra 50 cents. Worse is keep asking you whether u paid up the 50 cents or not... Terrible

This is my second time coming back to this place. However, the quality has dropped. The Malacca sugar doesn't taste as good as before. Probably because it has been commercialized. Very disappointed :(

Cendol can't get any better than this. One portion may not be enough if you're super craving for Cendol. They also have to-go cup (like bubble tea cup)

Nice chendul at road side with no place to sit. There is a coffee shop beside it, but it charge rm0.50 each bowl of chendul u bring in. Still...worth it.

price is OK, staff are friendly, cleanliness so-so. but this cendol way over rated. why do people still bother eating it. melaka/taiping/sungai petani cendol tastes much better.

Chendol, ice Kacang, rojak. If you order from here the chendol comes from the stall by the road. But you'll be sitting down instead of eating standing.

Are you kidding me? Well, obviously this delicacy is overrated. Various popular artistes ate here to boost popularity here. But doesn't gives me the authentic taste I want. Rating: 3.3/5.0
