Wow!! I had the swordfish it was quite possibly the best meal of my life. Aimee took great care of us, the salted butterscotch dessert is incredible. You must have a meal here if you are in Austin.

Probably the best seafood restaurant in Austin. Their fish and oysters are incredibly fresh, and the patio out front is shaded by oak trees and provides an excellent view of South Congress.

This seafood destination has an array of cocktails to match the cuisine. Bright flavors with a typically tropical flair incorporate house-made ingredients, and the cocktails never fail to refresh.

Perla's has transformed a land-locked SoCo corner into a beachy cafe. It's hard to beat this place on a sunny afternoon for fresh oysters, grilled octopus, and a Caesar cocktail on the shady patio. Read more

I literally almost cried over how absolutely amazing their Sunday brunch food was last week. And then got wasted from one Mimosa. Someone's doing life right over there. Get a Mimosa & a Florentine.

Go to Perla's and order the Scallop Pozole Verde Soup and the lightly-breaded Calamari with Bell Pepper. Pair them with a Dark 'N' Stormy or eat some Griddle Potato Cakes along with them. Epic.

When in doubt, take Perla's name literally and choose the oysters. (Get it?) The 512 brewery pecan porter is also an excellent 24 oz. of beer to accompany your sea critters.

Get the octopus appetizer. It is simply the best grilled octopus dish I've had anywhere in the world. The fact that I had it in Texas makes it even more special.

You can't go wrong. Ceviche is good, oysters with parm are impeccable, can't go wrong with Chatham, raspberry point oysters. One of my favorite places in ATX

Loved the lobster roll and calamari appetizer. For oyster fans, there is a huge selection (I'm not one but went with people who raved about the oysters).

The blackened tuna and quinoa was delicious. Highly recommend it. The Brussels sprouts however were totally not worth it. Flavorless and not well cooked.

The wood grilled oysters, crispy Texas snapper, and lobster role were all fantastic. A worthwhile break from barbecue and tex-mex.

The bouillabaisse is one of the only disappointing things on the menu. Get almost anything else instead (unless you're really into Japanese radishes).
